Invidia1988 Posted February 19, 2014 Report Posted February 19, 2014 In all respects I can't get to the warper anymore. Why not move the chatterboxes to the Tavern or put them in a spot much like the vendor malls. 2
ChainBreak Posted February 19, 2014 Report Posted February 19, 2014 You can change the camera angle by holding right mouse button and moving the mouse. Also zooming in you can see more stuff.
plok123 Posted February 19, 2014 Report Posted February 19, 2014 Rather have fcity to have no pubs :P
Procastinate Posted February 19, 2014 Report Posted February 19, 2014 No Pubs on street and near NPC only at side walks :)
jameslamela Posted February 19, 2014 Report Posted February 19, 2014 yeah... no chat box on streets!!! imagine the fcity if everything is well arranged and organize...
Royals™ Posted February 19, 2014 Report Posted February 19, 2014 pubs only at the bridge, so everyone passes the bridge for fild01
plok123 Posted February 19, 2014 Report Posted February 19, 2014 Nah, like no pubs at all.. If it would be on the bridge, it'll suck walking down there.. Make a place like the vending area that'll be just for pubs.
Procastinate Posted February 19, 2014 Report Posted February 19, 2014 Fcity is the "Economic Center" of FRO :)Businesses and trades occur in that place
Invidia1988 Posted February 20, 2014 Author Report Posted February 20, 2014 I know the move camera thing. The issue was that the chat boxes move and there were a few directly over the warper. x.x
Sensation Posted February 20, 2014 Report Posted February 20, 2014 Keep it a suggestion post and not a discussion about who's wrong or right.
Forum~ Posted February 21, 2014 Report Posted February 21, 2014 It's not hard to zoom in or shift your camera angle to click the npc you need. Disagree.
reggae Posted March 3, 2014 Report Posted March 3, 2014 pubs only at the bridge, so everyone passes the bridge for fild01 that doesnt always work. some people have hotkey warps directly to for_fild. and they also enter the fcity warp and @go 25 straight to the middle of the town, no passing the bridge.
mutilixus Posted March 5, 2014 Report Posted March 5, 2014 well how bout this... No need to make a tavern for pubs... there are spots that are seldom used in fcity where u can make a pub and still near to the NPC's (but doesn't block them anymore), close to the spawn point (so players can still see them when they warp back to fcity).

I can guarantee you that the GM sprites are going to be buried in chatboxes. I suggest to enable it near the lake/pond as it's a good foot traffic for people heading over to the Vending Market. The area outside the Mall would be good place to enable it as well. Cheers, Laura  Edited March 5, 2014 by sshinytoyguns 1

Thanks for the support on my suggestion... and I may wanna add a few things to my suggestion, can we disable the instance where when the original pub owner left the chat room, the pub transfers on the player left within the room. Some calls this the "Walking Pub", this is the reason how some players are able to make a pub near the NPCs where pubs are disabled.

I forgot about that feature! This could be a dim shot in the dark, but who knows? I'll keep an eye for this suggestion. Imho, Invidia1988 and the other supporters of this suggestion made a valid point. We look forward to hearing/reading some type of solution. Cheers, Laura  Edited March 6, 2014 by sshinytoyguns
exe_calibur Posted March 6, 2014 Report Posted March 6, 2014 Just a thought. I remember how in iRO pubs were swarming cities like Prontera, and it would be cool if a city had a designated spot for Pubs. Maybe a moving caravan type of thing where pubs would move city to city [weekly or monthly] . I don't know, I just thought it would add a refreshing feeling, like having a bigger purpose to the other cities. This would also make finding the type of people you want easier. Have a note in log in like the one you get that says "Night Mode Enabled" Like if you say: "Pubs at Payon 3/6/14 - 4/6/14" when you log in then people would know where to go if they needed to buy or sell and other players who aren't interested can stay in forsaken city.Side note: I noticed GvG gathers there too so this would give them more room ^.^Just an instant thought guys (x

Imho that's the beauty a private server offers. It can be a downfall as well without appreciating what else is outside the box. We're so used to seeing other towns/world maps in the official server, because we walk or sometimes port using Fly Wings to get there. :)) The idea is fruitful, but you have to think the amount of work the GM/Administrators will put in to making this happen. :(( Cheers, Laura

And of course I don't expect the GM's to make something happen as soon as someone has an idea ^.^

Rayray Posted March 8, 2014 Report Posted March 8, 2014 Seriously remove the chat boxes in city. We have the broadcaster if you want to sell stuff anyway, i haven't even put up a chat there to sell stuff since it is a slow process(not everyone uses fcity as their main town, I for one use @go 13).
Veracity Posted March 9, 2014 Report Posted March 9, 2014 I love the idea of moving the chat boxes off to the sides. I think that it makes logical sense, since it will be easier for people to view the NPCs, and it will just look better and more organized. I'll discuss this with Genesis to see whether or not we can do it at this time. :)
mutilixus Posted March 9, 2014 Report Posted March 9, 2014 At long eff-in LAST :D this is finally implemented~

I saw the update and went to fCity right away and my face was like O___O followed by ^___^. It was soooooooo open and clean now! My only question is are the people next to the BC and Healer NPCs are people who hadn't gotten recalled yet? Just curious. Congrats, NVidia! Super awesome suggestion that got implemented! :D Cheers, Laura
Veracity Posted March 26, 2014 Report Posted March 26, 2014 This was implemented so I'm moving this to reviewed. As for the healer/broadcaster NPCs, we'll figure out a fix for those being blocked. :)
