After summoning the 4 fragments you need to warp on the upper portion of the tower to kill again the 4 monsters (Maero of Thanatos, Despero of Thanatos, Odium of Thanatos, Dolor of Thanatos). After killing the 4 monsters again.. you need to warp on the middle of the tower thana_boss 136 126 in which Thanatos will be summoned. The problem is.. they say @noks works?GM says it works.. But in my experience. @noks doesnt work. Why? because i experienced being KSed by another player.. My damage was somehow 480K maybe and his damage was 500k or higher. They say if i am the first one to hit thanatos then no one but me will always be the mvp. But i tried it many times.. Always someone can KS it with larger amount of damage.. Okay my concern here is that.. Can you guys do something with regards to my concern? Because im sick and tired of reporting those players who are KSing my Summon Thanatos. If no action will be made.. Then what will be the options left to those players who are summoning it fairly? every now and then whenever they see someone trying to KS their summon they will report it? report? report? report? if thats the case many player will be punished/jailed/ or even banned.. Or maybe the innocent players will be the one to be reported. Maybe those players trying to KS thanatos will be the one reporting the true summoner and reversing the story?? if thats the case i think you guys should do something.. I think that this report will not be appreciated by those people who are not summoning thanatos or maybe they just dont care. But for me and for the rest of the players doing it fairly, this is important to us. So why not do something like anti-ks thanatos security check or something that whenever they did not summon the 2/2 or 3/4 fragments they will not be able to KS thana or hit thana or they will be forzen?. I dont know how you guys will do it.. or how are you going to implement it.. But i think you guys must think of a better idea than my idea because it is your job to protect players like me and implement good things in game for the betterment of the citizens of Forsaken RO... Rayray Posted June 4, 2013 Report Posted June 4, 2013 (edited) I have a better alternative/solution to this though, and I find it easy to code. 1. make thana_boss map unwarpable to players using @warp command. 2. Create an NPC, which will check if you have the fragments, if you do, it will warp you and your party to thana_boss 3. Proceed as usual The NPC and thana_boss map should have a 2 hour reset window. Meaning it will not allow players to go in if the time limit is still up. I put that since thana_boss map resets after killing thanatos in about 2 hours. Obviously it would take a couple of mins to kill thana if you are not geared so we can also put the reset window to about 3 hours. It all depends on the coder on how he will implement it anyway. ALSO to prevent abuse, thana_boss will warp out EVERYONE after thanatos is killed. around 10 seconds or so, it should force warp people out. Edited June 4, 2013 by ZerO25 1

Can we just avoid these conflicts? the punishment of KSing thanatos? because it does not help anyone in this server.. instead some players who had just completed his/her good items will be punished and even worst banned.. Like me i just had my sniper cursed ring.. i worked hard, hunt everyday for me to have it.. for me to have a better and high damage to thanatos.. so that if someone is trying to steal my summon i have a match in dealing damage.. First of all, i am not rich :P And Second, You are overreacting if you were to get too nervous just by summong thanatos, its your mistake for not taking an ss that is when regret takes place. Third, it takes about 1-2 seconds to take an ss and freezes the game for a bit, is that a big deal? and the GMs wont act on a case like that without any hard evidence. you dont believe in the GMs that much. and Last, what Rayray suggested might be the solution to your problem. also, as what i have read before or maybe its just me, KSing a summoned MvP wont punish you with a ban, instead the important item such as cards, rare stuffs will be taken away from the KSer and be given to you. or its the other way around? anyways i know that it is not punishable with a ban :3 Edited June 4, 2013 by Victoria

Wrong. @noks works perfectly fine. You just have to keep on hitting the mvp and not wait 30 seconds between your attacks. >_>. Stop bashing the system and say it doesn't work when you don't know how to use it. Yes, if people ks your thanatos because they wait at the spawnpoint and hit it first you SHOULD report them. That's all there is to it. If you don't take screenshots or a video of you placing the fragments then that's your fault. Not the servers or the gm's fault. You should be able to supply the proof and then the admins can take care of it. if thats the case many player will be punished/jailed/ or even banned.. Or maybe the innocent players will be the one to be reported. Maybe those players trying to KS thanatos will be the one reporting the true summoner and reversing the story?? if thats the case i think you guys should do something.. This also isn't even possible because the placement of the fragments has to be supplied in order to report a killstealer. So someone that stole the kill him/herself can never show proof of placing the most fragments. Yes, I agree some longterm solution should be made for this problem. However posting a rage-topic is not going to get you anywhere. Also a suggestion topic needs to be specific. You need to suggest specific solutions (such as Zero's npc). Not just say "Do something about it". So +1 to the point you're trying to make -1 to the lies you added to the topic and the none constructive solution given.

I thought this problem was solved by summoning the thanatos at the last location where you put in the fragment. So the summoner get to hit it first. Didn't know that it's still spawned at middle of thanatos tower.

leboy27 Posted June 5, 2013 Report Posted June 5, 2013 how about, after putting the fragments you'll get automatically warped to thanatos? or make the map thana_boss exclusive only for the summoner. or something like after putting the fragments you will automatically receive a thanatos ticket to give to an npc to warp you in the area where you can kill thanatos. that would be a nice custom. but as of now their busy doin another update so you might have to wait.

zergling Posted June 8, 2013 Report Posted June 8, 2013 Yea I have had the same problem with the bots that camp Thanatos. Problem is that you can't take SS when a bot is jumping to the glyphs and instantly typing the information in, it's impossible. As far as the @noks I haven't tested it so I can't comment on if it works or doesn't work. I think the biggest issue is that people will sit at the spawn and wait for him to be summoned just to get the first hit. Why not force a warp as soon as the final mobs are killed so everyone except the person who killed the mobs get warped back to fcity or something. That way whoever summoned it has time to run down to the middle and actually get the MVP that they summoned.

Yes, same as with bloody branches, if you summon an MvP with bloody branch it is yours and yours only :) if someone tried to KS, they deserve punishment
barsoomjasoom Posted June 9, 2013 Author Report Posted June 9, 2013 (edited) i think the administrator must review this topic.. i know that they are doing so many things, fixing bugs and etc, but thanatos is a thanatos.. its worth is 3K+ tokens. when someone got its card with a KS then he is so lucky. i reported every single character who KSed my Summon.. the thing here is it is too slow on the process to investigate if the player KSed my summon got any card.. Instead we should make this FRO a friendly game. Some of us are fighting because of a summon.. Why not make an anti KS solution that will put this things to an end? I like the suggestion whoever summons the most of the fragments and kill almost of the fragments will have a ticket in which he can give it to an npc and then he will be the only one warped to a room wherein he will be the only one who can kill thanatos. Even though the server is on Player Kill mode, we do not allow Kill Stealing. MvPs are free for all and players are entitled to killing their competitors for the MvP. Specially summoned MvPs, such as Thanatos or those summoned by AbraCadabra are of strict ownership of their summoners. Any case of breach of this rule will result in the retrieval of any rare item dropped by said MvP. First offense: -2 hours jail. Second offense: -10 hour jail. Third offense: -15 hour jail just wanted to post this for you guys :)
