More Ways Of Earning Money Pls.

I have invited like 4 of my friends to Forsaken RO.

they've came from different servers before.

some of them said that FRO is boring.

ive been here for a few weeks already I like it but

im getting tired of...

quest quest quest quest. loot loot loot loot..just to earn.

or when i leave home just vend.

how about a new game like.

Capture the Flag? every member of the winning team could get some kind of token.

Farm seeds in the renter. 1 hour farming you can earn 80-100+ seed tix and when you sell it, it cost 20 tokens. In 5 hours you can earn 100 tokens. But depends on how fast you farm. Or join a guild and be loyal to them and they will give you a reward for being a loyal.

The whole farming/questing aspect is a bit over done imo. It can get pretty stale pretty fast. More minigames (especially PvP oriented ones) and stuff make it a lot more entertaining. Though CTF would be weird unless yggs were disabled.

yeah most of the ctf ive seen had the yggs disabled. some skills were disabled and modified too..

Why not do some PvP or help people lvl up. Join endless towers, or go on some demon raids. Geared or not have fun ^^ what I usually do it have my screen windowed, open up netflix farm and watch a movie :) but I do understand what you mean. Slowly we can all help out the community grow more and more. Players also can do some mini games of there own :)

What kind of mini games did you guys have in mind? What other ways of earning tokens? Please be as specific as possible when you are suggesting things, it makes it more likely to be implemented. :)

I would suggest something like Hide N' Seek.. its something like this, there are many GM's like 3-4 online and then the GMs will hide on different locations, each GM will make a pub about some hints where the next GM is .. BTW to start the Event 1st GM will broadcast the Hint where he will be hiding then make a pub there. then when someone find him/her and went in his/her pub, the GM will now say the hint. the players will now go to the next destination and so on. until they reached the 3rd/4th GM and the Event is finished we have a winner <3 xD

Farmers are not treated fairly in this server as I can recollect from my previous suggestions. hmm. although its just a SUGGESTION. Im just saying.hmmm..Im pretty sure the GMs would love to be reward for their hard work into this server which I do, and pretty sure a handful of others too. But that seems not to apply to farmers for some reasons. hmmm.

I have no idea what you're referring to. If we were against farmers, why would we add quest items that are only a few stats less than donation items. We're the only server to do this as far as I know. So your comments really are completely unjustified. Not to mention that's more of a rant and doesn't belong in a suggestion topic at all.

Still looking forward to seeing people's specific ideas on this topic. :)

Maybe implement some PvP rewards or something aside from ladder and WoE.

Like getting tokens for killing players/ getting killed by players x times.

eg Kill 30 players to receive x tokens

Get killed 30 times to receive x tokens

To prevent feeding you could make the players trade skulls for the tokens and the same players skull cant be included in a trade more than x times.

Also more automated events could be included aside from poring catcher.

Like the event where you kill porings and drops for points and lose points for killing poporings.

The last server I was playing at had this implemented.

Also a minigame could be played where the map was filled with a lot of slow agro mobs and one fast agro mob.

The aim was to get from one portal on the map to another while avoiding the mobs.

Since only lvl 1 chars were allowed and trick dead was to be used to avoid getting killed it could get very tricky.

For this minigame 500 weightless blue potions were provided at the start of the game and when losing the pots were all removed again.

Of course commands were disabled on the map.

uhm..might i suggest having this kind of scheme. GMs would require players to acquire certain quest items by the end of a given deadline. For example by the end of the month, meaning march 31, 2013 11:59pm server time. and for every quest item/s they would be rewarded supplies or something.

let's say the quest item for the month are rucksack/s.

1 rucksack/s =

5pcs. Berry tix

5pcs. tix of their choice

5pc. toks

2 rucksack/s =

10pcs. Berry tix

10pcs. tix of their choice

10pcs. toks

3 rucksack/s =

same as above 1st but 30pcs. now

same as above 2nd but 30pcs. now

same as above 3rd but 30pcs. now

1pc. MVP card of their choice (excluding thana,FBH,TGK and any card which should be regulated)

do the same for 3, 6, 9, 12, ...

which in turn leads to farmers benefiting more from their farms, rich players buying from other farmers or farming for themselves and finally resulting to a much active economy. though it should be debated whether the quest items should be surrendered to GMs or not.

I would like to suggest a peco peco race. for lk's and pallys..

my guild use to do that and the winner got 5 ygg tix for a price just for fun.

if no peco peco.. we race using our foot.. hueheuhe

no speed pots, no buffs, and no moonlight card allowed.. hehehhe

+1 to this, I like challenges,and its pretty enjoyable, since other's got bored, :>

2 words for this. battle grounds.

have the badges be able to be traded in for tokens or cards. no leeching from BG. no AFK's in BG. if you're not helping your team it's a punishable offense. will let you guys do the math on number of badges per BG match and the types of cards/tokens awarded from the matches.

I like the idea of new methods of obtaining money. A lot has changed since April, so I would love to hear more suggestions on ways to get money. :)
