Silver Cards

Hey does anyone know where the silver card quests are, no one will tell me and I've had absolutely no luck with hunting normal mvps :/

i believe the silver mvps were removed in the previous patch, whatever silver cards you see now are probably what's left of them

Some of the card is still being sold by venders tho

We removed it because no one really used it and it seemed like another thing that made it more complicated/confusing for new players. I was the one that came up with the idea for it originally, so I can see how it would be helpful. If people feel it would be beneficial to new players, we can re-add it.

Yes actually it is, with a lot of fairly good equipped people hunting the normal MVPs i think it's kinda tough with the newbies...and the high prices aren't helping LOL! so i guess it's something that wouldn't hurt the server to have?

tbh, instead of removing it, you guys could change the mvp and make some custom mobs and cards. :\

Yeah I also suggest to re-add it, I mean they do have 50%(I think) of the MVP card's effect right?

I just think that just a few knows it (even I didn't know that LOL) that's why it's not very much used.

If this were re-added in the next patch, and added into the wiki, I would definitely do that quest.

They where extremely helpful for me when i started up again, i definitely think your should re-add them :P

Vote for re adding. I have alts that deserve the chance of having good equips, and i barely have enough mvp cards for my main!

should be 2/3 the effect instead of 1/2 imo though. :s

A GM should move this thread over to the suggestions board since it sorta became one.

That aside, I agree, the silver cards are a great substitute for new players trying to get in on the PvP action. Half the effect of the original MvP card is fine as it is as the cards are intended to be a temporary solution. I think if it were pushed to 2/3 as Zombee suggested, it would start edging awfully close to the original cards, so I disagree with that.

These silver MVP cards definitely helped me when I first started playing fRO. :)

I started off with silver mvp cards too. It was a great help.

I've been playing on this server for about two months, the first settling with regular cards while the following I discovered silver cards and now try to have some in stock with me at all times. I can definitely say it's a huge help in boosting my enjoyment and ability to play the game effectively. I'm sure new players will feel the same way :D

+1 I never used them but I do give them to newbie's and it does really helps them alot and afiak the effect is 2/3 of the original card
