Gm Interferance On Mvp?(That's What I Think)

For about 2 days now, i continued to hunt Thanatos in his tower, but for some reasons, there were snipers with weird names who keeps on hunting him and i can't even come close to their damage,their minimum damage to thana is 250k,whereas i can only do 170k......Then just today,i noticed that thanatos tower became a PVP map,so i asked my friend S U P R E M O to come along with me on the next respawn to help me kill thana,after thana respawned,my friend decided to kill the sniper because it's PVP map in the first place,lol..then that sniper sent a pm to S U P R E M O with theses words: "any last words?".....we didn't pay any attention to him because were thinking that what we did was legal because it's a pvp map...So after 2 hours,we decided to do the same thing,me killing thana,my friend,to kill anybody who will try to KS us...but for some unfortunate reasons,PVP mode on that map has been DISABLED!!!

wow,how come that's possible?was he a GM?because we're all thinking that he is because after saying that threat: "any last words?" pvp map was turned off...is that even legal?i personally think those people(or should i say that sniper) is really a GM because he has that capability

First of all, as far as I know, KS to thana is illegal. if you summoned him and someone KSed you can be reported. 2nd i dunno what the @noks command does but it might be it that makes him cannot be attacked...

are you the ones who summoned thana(using the fragments). if you are and they ksed, just report them. make sure to have SS though

First of all, i wanted to know is Thana still need to be special summon? or they spawn regularly now?

If they're still being special summon, here's my question.

1. Are you the one who's summoning it? if it's a yes then you should've take a SS from the very beginning.

2. Are you sure the map is pvp on? as far as i kno pvp has been disabled in that map for a long time, like a few months ago.

If you're pressing shift while clicking on the person it appears as if you can attack that person.

3. Why did you let him attack the thana until the very end? You should've stopped him in the beginning. :s

There's a possibility.

Although I'm not 100% sure if the @noks command ables you to not hit him.

In your case though, make sure you take a screenshot of yourself summoning Thanatos with the fragments, I believe there's 4 of them. Once you've taken a screenshot of that, and someone tried to Kill Steal your Thanatos. You have the right to report that player for Kill Stealing your summoned Thanatos.

That player is NOT a GM. PvP isn't supposed to be enabled on that map. If you don't want to be ksed, it's YOUR responsibility to use the @noks command. Please do not make baseless accusations against our staff because you're upset. If PvP was enabled, someone reported it to a GM and the GM did their job by disabling it, nothing more.

Kill stealing: (only exception is naturally spawned MvPs)

Known regularly as 'KS' (e.g. KSer, KSing). Even though the server is on Player Kill mode, we do not allow Kill Stealing. MvPs are free for all and players are entitled to killing their competitors for the MvP. Specially summoned MvPs, such as Thanatos or those summoned by AbraCadabra are of strict ownership of their summoners. Any case of breach of this rule will result in the retrieval of any rare item dropped by said MvP.

First offense:

-2 hours jail.

Second offense:

-10 hour jail.

Third offense:

-15 hour jail

alright,........so i would just like to have some question because this always happens every time thana needs to be special summoned using that 4 fragments exactly after 2 hours...me and that sniper put the fragments almost at the same time..sometimes i will only be able to use the fragment of sorrow and agony because the other 2 was already completed by him...so which one of us has the right to kill thana?if i take SS to show proof that i was the first one to put the fragment,and then kill thana with him hitting as well,can i report him as KSing?what if he did that same thing to me?which one us is guilty?

PVP is enabled in thana_boss, which it shouldn't be.

And there are 5 spots in the map that are needed for the summoning of thana, the 4 fragments + the 1 spot (with 4 mobs) at the top of the map, so how about just who manage to summon 3 out of the 5 spots gets rights to the thana boss?

@noks = First hit on mvp gets to keep it, while anyone else that tries to hit it/ks will just miss. (At least that's what i remember it was)

Also the @noks has a problem, think of this situation:

A player summons all 4 + the north spot then they warp to the middle to confront the thana, while another player can just wait in the middle where thana spawns and hit the thana as soon as it appears and it will be theirs to kill (with their @noks enabled) while the player who summoned it can't hit it because they were still somewhere else when thana appeared, so they weren't able to get the first hit. Sure you can report the other player for kill stealing but how long till that report is dealt with, and if it did drop something good, it could probably be long gone now on a different account/char by the time this is inspected.

I think what caused it (atleast this time) was the restart of the server. Every map where you could enable PvP on had PvP on too (LMS maps, Survival maps, etc). That's the only reasonable solution I can think of right here.

Going to go ahead and close this up now. I added permanently disabling PvP on the map to the to do list for the next update already, so this will no longer be an issue one way or another. :)
