I will test it and then I will try to let you know through here. Now on topic: I thought of this before but I never formalized the suggestion, the thing is that I consider that you get 1 vote every time you vote in both website to make it more efficient the way to gather votes for the server, since if you get 2 vote tokens you will actually stop voting in half the time you used to do before. Right now I am not sure if I should +1 or -1 this suggestion I will keep reading other people inputs and then I will come up with a conclusion. As for the 2 vote tickets every time you vote, this would be very beneficial for new players as there are a lot of vote items that are very useful such as the scarf for immunity to freeze paired with the elite set's lack of it and the Fallen Ghost Aura which has higher stats than any quest aura. That being said, the more veteran players have very little uses for MANY of the vote items and it would discourage them from voting once they have the ONE item they want. I would only suggest increasing the amount of vote tokens if you increase the amount of useful vote rewards by either adding new ones or buffing old ones. I agree that it would be beneficial to new players, but this would cause old players to stop voting after they have gotten their vote items with half the time originally needed. This would have more negative affects than positive effects in the long run. On the other hand, it would be beneficial if the count-down timer be fixed to actually be 12 hours. But getting only 1 token every 12 hours or 24 hours (considering that not everyone can vote every 12 hours cause of work) is quite frustrating. I believe that motivating players by giving them a higher chance creates a better outcome than forcing them to vote over a long time. If they get their item a little faster they might think "oh cool! this isn't so bad! let's get another item." and they'd keep voting (maybe even type in the letters and push that button!). Voting is never been an compulsory, for me voting is a way to help your server by promoting it and in return you can get an item BUT i doesn't mean that people are focusing what will they get rather than helping the server to get more players. I want to promote the server and also have the vote rewards faster at the same time. new players can get vote rewards in fair time if it is done every 24 hours. i suggest that to vote every 24 hours and get 2 vote tokens or 3 maybe?. and some of my friends is having a hard time getting 2 tokens every 24 hours. coz u have to vote twice ryt? and w8 every 12-14hrs before they can vote again. and they will get lazy becoz of waiting. and ALSO there is a probability that the OLD players would be encourage to vote because they can get the reward faster. for example if u r bored with the black scarf. vote again for another color but in a less time to get it. but in contrast of having a less time getting vote rewards (after they have voted enough for the items they want they will not vote anymore) PROS and CONS =))) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Second off : This time amount can not be changed unless the entire script is redone. Third off : I agree to this suggestion due to the following reasons : 1: Voting items are specially useful for new players. This will help them gear up faster. 2: Seeing the voting system as it is right now is very discouraging. Why ? Because it takes way too long before you can finally get one of the proper voting items. I know there are many people that stopped voting because it takes too long to obtain the items. If any, this suggestion will boost the amount of votes the server will get. As long as proper voting items will be released (more regularly) this suggestion should work out great. 3: I don't see a purpose,your not supposed to get these items in such a small amount of time. The proper voting items would still take +/- 2 months to get with constant voting. That's not a 'small' amount of time if you ask me. Just my 2 cents. Guest lolensue Posted May 22, 2011 Report Share Posted May 22, 2011 there are lots of vote items in which a new vote item gets implemented most of the time now and to encourage people to vote, this might be a good things because of the semi faster vote thing. 2 vote tokens each 24hours would be the same as 1 token per 12hours in which 12hours is broken atm.
