Secret Posted March 27, 2011 Report Share Posted March 27, 2011 i know some of you tired from getting ganged inside PvP (Seriously Getting ganged isnt fun at all) and i know someone of you thinking that "then get your own gang Noob" and disapproved with this suggestion. Having a 1v1 PvP will show other players competitiveness and skill and knowing the Advantages and Weaknesses of their favorite class If you Disagree kindly specify your answer thank you. And if they have a gang then I'm sure they will let you two do that (or just go to a random for_fild spot if you don't want anyone around). Sure this won't be accomplished by yelling "noobs!! cant even 1vs1!!! damn gangersss". Instead you could pm them and ask like a grown person. And anyway, there isn't always a gang in there. It's usually the weekend after the ladder reset. During the week you'll find lonely souls waiting for someone to fight. Not to forget that you could cheat very well in there. They either are laddering or working towards not dying so they gang. Just know your better than them. Random is getting to hit people first and unexpected when they don't have the equips ready for them. They gang because it's harder to kill you or they just wants you gang. Just don't mind them. Wouldn't it, in fact, be easier to spot cheaters in a 1v1 setting. If someone is repeatedly running in and feeding 1 on 1 it's way easier for a GM in hiding to spot and screen shot. Also, any competitor could keep a feeder at bay. All he has to do is go into the room with an alt client or friend and sit there. If the 2 player room is full then no one can enter to feed, thus an easy way to counter feeders until a GM can be contacted. I don't see the point in this. I think a lot of you are missing something key. PvP stands for player verses player. Not player verses gang/ gang verses gang/player verses guild. An additional arena for 1v1 combat would be fantastic. Finally a chance to prove that you are truly great with just your class. No alt char buffing you or friends defending you. Additionally, people won't really be able to flee from a duel like in say for fild where they can just warp... Sure people could alt+f4 but there is a couple second delay before your character logs out in which you would die. PvP ladder is to show that you are a great pvper. Not you and your friends, or you and your guild. In addition: No one forces you to enter. You can still have your gang fests/wars in normal donation pvp. Apo Posted March 28, 2011 Report Share Posted March 28, 2011 (edited) It would almost seem like a survival, once one gets in, and keeps killing anyone who gets in for an endless amount of time w/o even being defeated unless his yggs run out or whatever, I believe there should be multiple rooms with a rank, and the more you kill the higher you rank gets and the higher your rank gets the more you gotta go to a higher room to keep the pace instead of just a noob bang wagon. Well why waste time scripting it then u got a huge field u can 1v1 on and a ton of other maps to.
