Example: I've been using a Kobalt Archer Hat on my archer. But now since I have a fset I don't need it no more. (EXAMPLE I DO HAVE A FSET xD)Anyways im not expecting a full refund like maybe 1 quarter or half?

ginkgo Posted June 6, 2010 Report Posted June 6, 2010 Its not free your not thinking. Every time you refund your losing voting tix. if the machine gives you 25% back you lose 75% refund enough times and you will lose all your voting qpons.
Cirrus Posted June 6, 2010 Report Posted June 6, 2010 What's not free? You just spend a couple minutes a day for a ticket that would lead to some items with interesting effects. Tons of arguments were done on it, why not just HELP the server by voting for it continuously and it even rewards you for it, it's win-win, more people get to know about the server, you get items eventually. I myself would be glad if this was done, but in the long run, I'd rather continue voting and just keep getting vote coupons. I know a whole lot of people who stopped voting when they got their desired vote items. The server used to be up the ranks but since this happened it just went down. It'll just worsen if people need to vote less if they ever need another vote item. So far I've gotten all the vote rewards I want. But that doesn't mean I stopped voting, I have over 300 voting coupons extra, and all that just a couple minutes a day. I could've stopped voting when I got all I needed, which so many people have done. Moreso as I said, they'll vote less if you could refund. So even before I supported some of the suggestions, I'm just saying it's better off that it stays this way. What we need is more vote rewards as incentive, since that's why some people vote. They were repeatedly rejected for a reason.

The voting items are nothing more than a reward for supporting our server, it doesn't take much. For less than a minute a day you can help the server and still have access to very good items. It is indeed a win&win situation. "The team that is winning needs no change." If anything, a suggestion regarding vote items should ask for more items to choose from.

Pay the full price. Now you've lost more than "cashing in" your previous vote item and just voting a little more to make up what you lack. You don't lose more vote coupons if you can get back a little. They don't circulate in the economy, they cannot be traded. Edited June 7, 2010 by Cirrus

If they were made refundable it also wouldn't be really fair to people who've amassed a large collection of them through helping the server through voting. However, voting isn't "free". Anything that requires time is not free: time = money. Sorry it's just an obsessive economics thing of mine... People don't always understand the concept of "free". Lastly, I feel there would be less votes if they were made refundable... Maybe not a significant decrease but we need all the votes we can get! I think the better course of action would be developing more vote items (like a scarves for other classes)... But thats a different story... Edited June 7, 2010 by Xtopher

Yeah this is it. Maybe, instead of everyone putting their energies into complaints, they can put it to good use by way of item ideas.

If you want another one then you gotta vote some more. :3 I don't really like my Fallen Ghost anymore, I like my myth better, so now I have to vote once a day for 120 days so I can get a Flower Ring which I really want. ^___^;

I think i average about 4 votes per week so if i want fluffies, i need to vote for almost 23 weeks. Thats a really long time.

Don't most of the topsites/ranking sites use a 12 hour period that you have to wait? Also, with the current voting system I can't vote from more than 1 ip with the same account... I have a different IP address at work than at home so in theory I could vote once at work and once at home... but because their both linked to the same in-game account only one of the times I vote would count. I think if some of the above were allowed then ppl would definitely vote more = move up in rank = more players.

But my friend who played with me all the time could still vote 12 hours and he lives pretty close to me
