  1. You bored, miss?

  2. Isn't that because you put yourself in such a bad angle?
  3. HI maybe the normal Sun/Moon Auroras can be improved on especially the Moon one because it moves all around the user and such et cetera. Thanks!!
  4. In the face of a real solution people stop and stare. Lol jk I changed the if script for sacreds/devilings to keep the higher reducts, (cancelling out the sacreds' 10% instead) so stacking everything would still have a max of 80% instead of 75% (with Combat Knife and a cancelled out Sacreds.) Makes more sense that way, still keeping every single calculation in there in check.
  5. The first set of codes does what you exactly just said. If you wear Sacred, you get +10% reductions + F.Helm. But if you wear a Devi/Santa Poring, the if script makes it that whatever 15% bonus the hat has, it goes to 0. So you're still stuck with 10. If you wear Devi/Santa Poring only (without Sacred), you get 15% reductions for your headgear equips. But if you actually wear a Sacred along with it, as said above, you cancel out 15% reductions, making only your Sacred count, i.e. 10% total. As in the scripts I presented, whatever you do (Frigg's+Usako+Devi/SantaPoring+CombatKnife or Frigg's+Usako+Sacred+CombatKnife) you'll only get a total of 80%. If you try to wear 15% and 10% on your headgears you lose out on 5% reducts, making your total 75% (makes you look stupid and even more useless, you don't even have a weapon to help you fight.) This makes you have a maximum of 75% demihuman reductions while wielding an actual useful weapon, and 80% only for a "full reduction" build (which is far from the current 95% possible.) I hope people understand this. Lol.
  6. For the Combat Knife, I just maintained that they be able to be used to full effect by those newer people who do not have Deviling/Santa Poring Hat and/or Sacreds/Fluffies. Hence without the other reductions, 10% still, and the script being capped at 80% whenever you try to stack more reductions with it.
  7. One man breakers don't happen anymore against defending guilds. Go WoE and attack solo, as in alone, a defended castle. It happens because a guild is not defending that particular castle, problem? Too little people, too many choices. And damn, someone lied. And practice what you preach, please. 80% max is fine, actually good, and I know how to do it. The problem is not elemental or size reductions, reductions have a diminished stack unlike attack modifiers. More types of reductions = less overall reductions. The problem is additive stacking of the same reduction modifier, in our case, demi-human. Since everyone is going for a max of 80 (and this is with a Combat Knife, i.e. very little offensive capabilities, not all classes can use the Combat Knife too, especially not the more defensive classes like Priest, and other classes rely on weapons to actually do damage) all it takes is a couple of additional scripts on Sacred Wings, Fluffy Wings, and Santa Poring/Deviling Hats or Combat Knife itself. Something along the lines of: Sacred/Fluffy Wings additional code: { if(isequipped(SantaPoringItemID)) { bonus2 bSubRace,RC_DemiHuman,-10; } { if(isequipped(DevilingHatItemID)) { bonus2 bSubRace,RC_DemiHuman,-10; } EDIT: For the above, it makes more sense to keep the higher reductions, in turn, if you still stack Frigg's King/Usako/Devil or Santa Poring/Sacred or Fluffies with a total of 80%. In theory, this would nullify Santa Poring/Deviling Hats' +15% DemiHuman reduction. You can either have 15% reductions on your headgear, or 10% (Sacred), but never both. So if you're on Santa Poring/Deviling Hats, Frigg's King Shield with Usakoring card, you get a total of 75%. If you're on Sacred/Fluffy Wings, you get a total of 70%. Now on to the remaining 5/10% to get to 80%. Santa Poring/Deviling Hats additional code: { if(isequipped(CombatKnifeItemID)) { bonus2 bSubRace,RC_DemiHuman,-5; }This would reduce the reduction bonus of Combat Knife (which is 10%) to just 5%. So if you're wearing Santa Poring/Deviling Hat, you'll only get a total of 80%.-OR- Combat Knife additional code: { if(isequipped(SantaPoringItemID)) { bonus2 bSubRace,RC_DemiHuman,-5; } { if(isequipped(DevilingHatItemID)) { bonus2 bSubRace,RC_DemiHuman,-5; } This would not affect you wearing a Sacred/Fluffy Wing at all, only when when you are wearing a Santa Poring/Deviling Hat. Maths? Frigg's King Shield (25) + Usakoring card (35) + Sacred/Fluffy Wing (10) + Combat Knife (10) = 80. Frigg's King Shield (25) + Usakoring card (35) + Santa Poring/Deviling Hat (15) + Combat Knife (10-5) = 80. Frigg's King Shield (25) + Usakoring card (35) + Sacred/Fluffy Wing (10) + Santa Poring/Deviling Hat (15-10) + Combat Knife (10-5) = 80. You get even less reductions if you try to stack Santa Poring Deviling Hat with Sacreds/Fluffies. That is, if these codes do actually play out right. Basically, you sacrifice the use of the F.Set (stat bonuses and the actually very good ASPD bonus) and if you want offensive capabilities with 75% reductions, use the advantage of an F.Set with offensive capabilities with a max of 70% reductions, throw out almost all offensive capabilities and only have a total of 80% reductions whenever. That's a practical maximum of 75% reductions.
  8. Yeah, they can't even withstand what I give them already. Total wipe-out with the chars I use, and my chars don't even have reducts higher than Usakoring + F.Shield. FUN.
  9. Sometimes you have to really check whether stuff are there or not, yes? Take off your FBHs and other SP bonuses, there's a flat SP bonus. That's why they have to test how much weight they're gonna give. Or you don't think it's possible that they can do this and maintain a good damage? If most of what the GMs have said is that it's not gonna be buffed any further you have to take away something to put in something new.
  10. It's also not too hard to have a variety of classes to exploit weaknesses.
  11. What people defending fail to realize is that a guy on reductions would have sacrificed a ton of other stats that make their class what it is. To have 300k HP on a ton of reductions would have cost a lot of STR, if 195 ASPD, a ton of AGI, more than normal DEX. So can this person kill your guild of 30 people? Nope. Although they can be smart, use a lot of different classes and actually coordinate their attacks instead of mass mobbing people, which is all you people do anyway. How do you click a person when your own guild member is blocking him? So let's say a SinX goes to your castle on full reductions. He won't have the huge damage necessary to bring your 250m Emperium down. He'd be forced to go defensive, means that's just a dagger. Now to keep his reductions up, he's gonna have to be on Usakoring. What do you obviously do? Coma him. Works a lot. He GTBs? Time a good double Asura. Chances are you have a good 10 minutes that your Emp is taking miniscule damage. No reductions will be lessened or removed if this is the approach taken to the problem. It does not only affect WoE, it affects normal PvP more since the implementation of these new weapons upped the ante for everyone. Or are you suggesting a "Renewal" for fRO. I think if this ever gets approved it would take not just a few months, more to a year or more. Plus we aren't supposed to be iRO, or, what, our rates should just be 1/1/1, levels 99/70, and so on. We adjust to the demands of a high rate, and so far it's good (but only if you're basically well geared, which is a problem for new players but being fixed as the GMs said.) WoE involves too much people attacking one person for the damage reduction to be taken away, especially for this server. For the hilarity of it, if indeed you want it down to iRO standards, let's make the Emp have 2.5m HP too, so once these guys do get to Emp (which would be damned hard because they'd die all the time) the Emp would break fast (since there's no defense, no point in prolonging breaking!) In all seriousness, once they do get to Emp what people do is mob them with everything they have anyway. So they happen to e-call, and you get wiped out. What if you wipe them out first? Like all of you have said, I agree to not having any more higher reduction gears put in. But these ones are to stay, surely there's more player-oriented solutions to it, can't everyone learn a bit more to play? So a group of 10 wipes out a group of 30, there's something wrong with that under equal terms, but everyone's not equal, are they? Make them equal. Ever since some of the weapons have been fixed I've had no problem strategizing on how to fight full reduction people. People go to the castle my guild is defending during Euro WoE with full reductions, either they tank all the while but on full defensive gear or they die to Coma, they go GTB (well played, forced him to GTB) then do some big damage to overwhelm him. Oh and we don't have 30 people too. It's been defended for more than 10 minutes and that's every guild going against it. There are also ways around that, they could've done it but they didn't. Some guilds dedicate people for infiltrating & support against big guilds, isn't that the way to do it? Not everyone just on cookie-cut builds going head-to-head against other cookie-cut build people. I'm just saying if there's a will, there's a way. On my personal reduction e-caller build, I have every item I could use even when the biggest guild could defend until 100 defense. I use nothing new. I just use a dedicated build that can do nothing to harm you, but try and survive enough to get my help in. I just got smart. I see some smart people counter this already. Do it then.
  12. Maybe there's another way to address this issue, aside from OP auto-casts and direct %damage/SP buffs. Has no one considered Spiral Pierce's damage formula? According to the in-game description, the formula is: [(80% of weapons weight times (100%+level*50%) + (round.down(STR/10^2) + Upgrade Damage) * size modifier (small 125%, medium 100%, large 75%)) * card factors (+20% and such) * element factors ]* 5 hits. According to the pre-Renewal article on Spiral Pierce on irowiki.org, it's [(weaponweight*0.8*skillmod)+strbonus+weaponupgrades]*damagemodifiers*5 (which is more of the same, just simplified.) Damage: Most ATK is not calculated into Clashing Spiral's damage. Things such as Spear Mastery/Weapon Masteries, Andre cards, or base weapon ATK will not add damage. However, weapon upgrades do (the damage they add is not random, such as on normal melee attacks). Racial/elemental/size cards or items that multiply the final damage by a percentage, such as The Sign, will add damage. Every 10 STR adds a set amount of damage to Clashing Spiral that can be multiplied by cards, The Sign, or similar items. Okay, so what are we avoiding, or not likely to happen, or not even happening? A direct Spiral Pierce damage buff (%damage) A bigger SP boost. (%SP) Overpowered auto-casts that have other sources to come from (Coma, Dispell, this thread) What are our choices in regard to the formula? Make the weapon from Level 3 to Level 4. This would add a very small, fixed damage boost. According to the description, it's just an additional 10 damage from Level 3. (Lv3 - +15, Lv4 - +25) Give more base STR bonus. If you would look at the STR bonus/damage chart in this page you would see that additional STR will add 10 more damage on top of the previous damage bonus of your STR. Example would be if I had 100 STR, it gives Spiral Pierce an additional 95 damage. But that's on top of every single STR bonus from 10 STR, 20 STR, 30 STR, and so on, for a total of 500 more damage, and don't forget, multiplied by 5 per hit of Spiral Pierce. While this looks good, we should give back what we ask for, and there's a better bonus for it. A race/size damage modifier bonus. The current Halberd has +17% damage to Demihumans. We know that it doesn't stack multiplicatively with other Demihuman bonuses, which we get a lot from 2x FBHs already. Maybe changed to size, or race:Non_boss? Not probable, and I'd be against this mostly. This is what I was aiming for: A weight boost. At the current values, it's at 200 weight. Spiral Pierce calculates in 80% of the weapon's weight in damage. So, if say, we make it 600. That's 3x the current one, which in turn would provide more raw value for the final damage output. What's good about this is you'll be taking away what LKs were given more of in the advent of the Halberd. More weight capacity to carry supplies. 1h Elite LK Spears are at 500 weight. 2h are at 550. They give a lot more of the raw value to the final output than a measly 200 weight. LKs didn't have as much carrying capacity (a lot, but not too much because of multiple spears) when they were massing up 1h Elite Spears. 3 default weapons, you already lost 1500 weight. More if you're a tactical player, lose 500 more per spear you carry. This is good, because the LK Halberd is already a very good weapon (that unfortunately no one knows how to maximize, except a few.) Som has a point, I've seen Aura duel people outlasting every single one of them with 400k HP and a ton of Seeds. If you're gonna give them damage, take away some of their strengths. Make them carry less supplies. Remove the +250 flat SP bonus. You want to get something? Give back something. More damage, make them use their Yggs. Reduce the Yggs they can carry. Now they'll be balanced. Now it is not up to us to direct what bonuses this Halberd gets. They're the one who can do the testing, and it will be up to them how much it will be increased (not by a lot, mind you, that's why it was lowered to begin with, the initial was too strong.) This Halberd is arguably the most debated weapon, and that comes with some people not maximizing it, some, seeing the finer problems with the weapon in regards to other classes, some, just too impatient to outlast other classes, and so on, so forth, blah blah myriad of reasons.

  16. Polls are easily cheated by multiple forum accounts, whereas individual posts can be tracked by the IP address and therefore would count for a more solid opinion rather than just a tick & click vote. Just because the community votes for a certain thing and overwhelms the staff's decision doesn't mean it should 100% be implemented as it is; the community does not know the exact scripts of the suggestions, and all of the factors they have to consider. This in turn is up to the staff, to bring in elements of a suggestion to be implemented with their own version of what they would've implemented, and I rather it stay that way. I am not disagreeing because I am against the suggestion, just for the sake of being sure, a poll is not necessary in my opinion. Players still, and always will, have their opinions mean something, as shown by a myriad of accepted & implemented suggestions. And for forum interaction, voting using a poll isn't really interaction, them posting their opinion backed up by valid reasons is the one called real interaction.
  17. Simply, I'm suggesting that the Bloody Branch event reward is pushed up the list (maybe the first item in the list, or 2nd, next to Token[would require relocation as well].) This would take very little effort, and it facilitates quicker exchanging of Event Tokens to Bloody Branches (or Tokens.) It is a very efficient alternative to giving the player an option to choose how many Bloody Branches/Tokens he wants to purchase. This could be a low-priority suggestion (and born out of laziness) but I believe in the long run it would help people! :D As seen in these images, the Bloody Branch & Token (which are more likely to be bought en masse) are further down the list (Bloody Branch being below 6 items.) This means the player has to scroll down every time he buys a Bloody Branch, and if multiple times, every single time he buys one. I feel crazy about suggesting this but why not. LOL. Thanks for your time.
  18. I don't use 3rd job sprites though, and I see it on all classes I put it on. But... it's a tiny thing that's annoying, so yeah. Thanks.
  19. Expanding on Xtopher's post above, the image that follows is what it looks like on several groups of Rucksacks. I believe the Rucksacks that have these are: Halloween Rucksacks (Darkring, Bat, Hollowring, Skellington/Skeleton) Christmas Rucksacks (Frosty, Rudolf, Grinch, Santa Poring, Santa Poporing) Spring Rucksacks (Pink Butterfree, Purple Butterfree, Bumblebee) (Please tell me if I missed anything!) Furthermore, when dragging these items from the inventory to whatever, you only see a small black line as well. Regarding the White Imperial Valkyrie Helm, the right cut-away looks like is not symmetric with the left cut-away, I guess providing images is better so I can actually show it.White Valkyrie Helm :: White Imperial Valkyrie Helm Up-close: That's all I can recall from the top of my head right now.
