Yes, it was thanks to the last GvG event that I realized this. While, being on my proff I figured the only thing I could really do against a pally since I've been playing for only a few months, was to strip the pally of their armor/shield and throw my full burst at him, however he was able to tank it long enough (obviously) while battle chanting to re-equip his shield and then it was back to square one. I'm suggesting this be a bit more slightly delayed by at least another 10-15 seconds. This gives me, a magic class, to actually stand a chance other than sit there and stare at each other. Usually, during a massive team fight where the majority of the team is still standing and you devo, you're on FCP anyways and don't need to worry about your shield being stripped to have to stop and battle chant while devo'ing your partners - however during the last few survivors and given I was already risking coma reflect anyways, I do not understand how exactly it is okay for a class to be so resilient against strip without FCP. Once my shield was stripped, I was instantly K.O'd since this is a very item dependent game. Then again, this is RO and game mechanics strike me as abit out there to begin with. It's great you like to list your achievements, and don't get me wrong I loved Endv but I'm sure if we all had three alts hiding behind ice walls, as well as years experience in the game we'd be pretty kick ass too. ;]
I also just asked my friend to battle chant for me, while being given blessing and the blessing still seemed to be there after it said immune to all abnormal effects??? Correct me if I'm wrong. :)
