It just shows what your ping is to the server and if you can reach it. I just wanted to know if you completely were unable to gain any form of access. I'll try to look into it.. I don't know a solution at the moment. What you can try is this though.. when you're in the command prompt do this: ipconfig /flushdns This will clear your DNS cache and might help, in the meantime, I'll do my best to find a solution. (it may take a while I have exams coming up)

Could you open your command (windows+R -> cmd) and type "ping forsakenserver.net". What is the result?

This is a valid point, but sadly not as easy as it seems. The update can be performed nonetheless, but adding the descriptions of the scripts will require more time.

The suggestion seems fair and if this really would make a more balanced play style it would be awesome. But my own opinion is that other classes could use a bit help more than WS. This doesn't mean anything other than more classes should enter the competitive field (or more people playing them). For now, I'll support this suggestion.

WoE isn't what it was in the original Influence days. Guilds were holding their castles for weeks in a row, months even. Another guild who was able to do this was Limitless. To me the most legendary guilds that were ever on this server, both their leaders and the guilds themselves. As for the suggestion, it is very unlikely this will be accepted. Do give more (good & elaborated) reasons to change our minds.

Actually your stats say your dex is 131 - 85. Remove some of the gears (think it's the helmet) to undo the negative stats. This was used for starting up, it's time to move on to the knight gears :)

The procedure was described in the first post. The post was made on the 25th of July and means that this GM application is closed for quite some time now, sorry.

Before the nerf the Gunslingers were too strong and had too much control with their Desperado. The comparison you're making will always be in the benefit of the Gunslingers from before the nerf. You shouldn't compare Gunslingers to other transcendent classes to start with since it isn't one. The survivability is the same as before the nerf, however, players are able to reach you 'easier' with melee range skills now. This actually is to balance their fighting power against yours. Complete domination by one class never has been a good thing and to my opinion, Gunslingers are ok where they are for now. The lag has nothing to do with the changes to the class, so I don't understand why you bring that up. Adding a skill such as guard to a Gunslinger class is quite a horrible idea as that skill is meant for a low mobility class. Gunslingers aren't low mobility, but high mobility, so there goes the reasoning behind the thought. With some adjustments in the playstyle, you can still do what you did before. However, I am not here to lecture people on their playstyle, but trying to get the best out of every suggestion before it will be accepted/rejected.

Those things aren't allowed, but I can't prevent them currently. They wil be disabled in the upcoming update, but for now it doesn't matter. People want to have fun as the 'weakest' possible character and where all players are equal in everything and anything. I encourage everyone to join this event, because it simply is a lot of fun. P.S. James, you shouldn't always be negative about things, it's bad for you too.

Novice vs. Zombie We have this fun event that a lot people refuse to join or don't know what to expect. As you can see below we're having a lot o fun together and a large group of novices gathered together to beat the zombie mob. Hopefully in the future more players will join!

Exception Type: 0xc0000005 indicates a sprite related problem. Are you completely patched? If you, do you have other RO servers in that same directory, because those could interfere in a way. If all of that is a no, I'll advise you to install the small installer over your current setup, that should fix your sprite errors. You can also reset your character in the control panel in the mean time.

We'll look into it, I have been cooking myself before without problems. However that was quite some time ago and in the meantime certain updates might have disabled/broken the ability. Thanks for notifying us.

Run the game in Windows XP (SP3) compatiblity mode as Administrator. That worked for me, hope it works for you too.

Don't you think there's a reason why they haven't donated for it yet. They're bluffing and you took it for granted. You should put it the other way, this is my price, take it or donate for it, there are plenty other people who you can sell to.
