But FAS hits once and is reduced by noxious card, Desperado, on the other hand, hits multiple times, even a maximum of 10 hits.
A ghost bullet for gunslingers will increase damage by 1/4(25%). That's like getting a free TG and a bit more. Even if you put the bullet's atk power to 1, it doesn't matter much as the dex accessories, the bit STR you put on your gunslinger to have weight capacity, the bit luk you have due to your equips and overall attack power will still be huge.
This is just an estimate, but if we follow that the bullet will increase the damage by 25%: If your gunslinger now is hitting 14k Desperado each hit, with a ghost bullet against someone wearing GR will make that 17,500 damage per hit. Some people with Thanatos can hit around 22k each, so that becomes 27,500 each hit(25% of 22k is 5,500).
However, that bonus damage will be gone the moment the enemy switches to a non-gr armor. If that happens, it is back to square one for the gunslingers. That is why I do not see this bullets as the solution for it. Gunslingers do not have the ability to FORCE people into wearing GR armor. In a 1v1 situation, any player can just go tao+puppetring against a gunslinger and not bother switching at all. While being protected from ghost element, it also forces the gunslinger to use fsoldier card.
Keep the discussion going though, but for me, I would rather have an increase in damage than the bullets.
