Reviving this since there's gonna be an update coming soon (i guess?) Hope something can be done in the coming update regarding this. Spiritual Whisper has doubled the price since the start of the topic, and almost a 1000% increase in price since the release of the guide, and still on the raise. We can either make bloody knight, valkyrie and gryphon instant spawn with lower drop rate so it will be more difficult for people to horde and overprice the items, or maybe implement an inflation control npc that sells the items so the prices will be capped at a certain level (like how king set parts will never go above 100 tokens). I'm more in favor of the former I'm including bloody knight and gryphon in the list since i think they will be the next in line if only valkyrie/S.W. gets fixed. So might as well tackle it together.

What about an NPC that takes requests from players? the request and reward will be put up on a board open to whoever takes the deal. The amount will be deducted from the player the moment he puts up the request. the deal taker will have a limited amount of time to complete the task, if he failed to do so the deal will be opened to others. There can also be a time limit for the request on board to prevent flooding. Once the request expired the reward will be returned to the player and he has to make a new request.

I won't consider bboygarrison's case feeding since there is some form of dueling involved, and you didn't get killed voluntarily.

How about hiring Police GMs? those GMs' main priority is to deal with offenses, and patrol ingame. Have at least 2 Police GMs from different time zones. As for expected GM commitment, I believe it is stated clearly in the recruitment thread. So all applicants should fully understand what they are signing up to. Yes it is noble of them to sacrifice their time to be on their GM char to help out, and together with this gratitude/acknowledgement/prestige, also comes great responsibility and commitment. So i never thought the reason of GMs' need to play on their legit as a really great excuse for not being active, if they prefer devoting more time on their legit, it may just suggest they are more suited being players rather than GMs. Real life commitment can be excused though I think if it comes a time that the GM is too preoccupied by his/her real life commitment then it is probably a good idea to resign and have someone who can commit take over the place, he/she can chose to return to the team when his/her real life issues got sorted out since GM recruitment takes place quite frequently. This is just a general opinion, not referring to anyone since i don't know any GM here well enough to comment.

You may want to get a hunting class, maybe your sniper, to get yourself 1k chivalry emblems first and max out one class to do the knight quest which will reward you the knight set. The set will be useful to you when you train your other chars.

Token to zeny is fine, i'm not so sure about zeny to token as zeny is farmable, thus token supply can easily go out of control, steep token depreciation may occur. If it is to be implemented then GMs will have to patrol for bots more frequently. Zeny bots are going to be rampant. As for tokens in the market, i think there are actually a decent number of donators contributing to the pool. So i'm under the impression that the token sink is actually enlarging rather than shrinking.

did you download the all-in-one or the small patch? If you had downloaded the all-in-one, all you need to do is to run and install that, and patch after the installation. If you downloaded the small patch, you will need a kRO client, which can be downloaded from ratemyserver. In this case you will need to install the kro first and patch it, followed by the installation of the small patch, after which you do a forsakenRO patch.

My guild, being quest whores, have actually started this quest few months back. We didn't continue with it after learning that the quest isn't rewarding and you need something that drops at 0.01%. Couple of us tried hunting for a few days and just decided it's better to move on to the ring quest instead.

If you are not planning to do donation, a good way to earn tokens (main currency of the server) is to offer farming services or farm supplies (such as seeds). By "ingame online token" i assume you mean Activity Tokens? that is a different system. King Room Token NPCs only accept "Tokens" which is the main currency of the server. You can either donate for them or trade them from players.

The way i see it, server is trying to reduce difficulty and resulted abuse of the quest, most evident from the release of the guide publicly in wiki. If the guide is released to prevent people from hording the quest and making profit from it, i don't see why things can't be done about nine realm requirements because people are hording the drops and artificially inflating the price, just like how BoS price climbed from 150 tokens to 1k tokens within a month.

This will be similar to what Precious Bio suggested in the previous thread. The difference is I would like to expand the suggestion to apply in general to other requirements such as Cloud Essence and Chills of Death. The spike in price of Spiritual Whispers may be the most significant now, but I think it would make more sense to tackle the whole set of requirements rather than just improving the situation for SW, as drops like Cloud Essence and Chills of Death are anticipated to go on a price hike once SW price drop. I suggest to modify Bloody Knight, Gryphon and Valkryie to have the same spawn as Chimera.
