I think I watched a video about Metallica and how they said themselves that Punk Rock has influenced them. I also watched a documentary about metal saying how it influenced and somehow helped "create" metal. I believe it was "Metal: A Headbanger's Journey" or something like that.

I didn't ask if you were a fan or not, I just wanted some opinions on how it was o_o. It's not really suposed to be bias. Thanks, but Chuck Norris already marked it as his territory and its hole has been filled :(

From the topic of "Most Amazing Guitarist Alive", and "Discuss", I think you wanted us to discuss on Guthrie Govan, which, from your own topic title, you depicted him as the most amazing (or seeing how you defended him so much) or "greatest" guitarist alive. Furthermore, you included even more guitarists and added the fact that they were also quite dominant over Slash. Still, you continued to be "ignorant" that Guthrie Govan was infact, the most amazing guitarist alive, and called me ignorant? You also asked me to compare Guthrie Govan's work with Slash's. If you know anything about metal, which you seemingly seem to know less every post, you would know each band or artist has their own unique or distictive sound. It is also more about personal tastes than you saying "zomg this guitarist iz bettar becuz he can do dis with his tongue". Oh, and yes, I do prefer Slash over Guthrie Govan even if Slash was not famous. I love his blues inspired sound and soul that's felt in the melodies. When I listen to Guthrie Govan, I feel the sound, but I don't feel the soul. I find his music just "fuck yeah shread that guitar". Still, it is all due to personal tastes. But, I still wonder how Slash managed to become so famous in the first place. He was famous in the 80's, which was the best time in the world to live in. Unlike now, with shit like the Jonas Brothers. If Guthrie Govan is the best for you, so be it. Slash is the best for me.

I meant he was a playable character on Guitar Hero. Anyways, think of it this way. Slash played around with a riff and it became a hit song. It is probably the most famous song by GnR (imo) and was written in 5 mins. Beat that.

Slash was on Guitar Hero. Guthrie wasn't. Slash wrote a song 21 years ago and it's still badass + it's a classic. Guthrie? Never heard of him 'till now. Oh, and please, Buckethead is good and all, but he doesn't have that soul feel to his music. I prefer Slash over Buckethead anyday. Oh, and Buckethead seems to be a bit messed in the head imo.

I can't really say a specific favourite because it varies between mood and time. If I were to pick my top ten (in no specific order), I'd say: Thrash Death Groove Traditional Nu Black Alt Stoner Other/Experimental Grindcore

Dude, I love the intro to From Delusion We Arise. I can see that you guys had a lot of influence from As I Lay Dying. You guys have a nice vocalist. I'd love to hear you guys play that song on album quality sometime. Good luck in life, send me some of your songs sometime. However, I must say that I'm not so interested in the other song. I'm not saying it's bad, I'm saying it's not my taste. Still, I usually hate songs that mix between soft and hard vocals. Anyways, that's just my opinion. Oh, and mind if I ask the lyrics? I'd like to see what style you guys play. I'm seeing between Hardcore and Nu Metal. For some inspirations, try listening to Carnal Forge's Burning Eden for some thrash-like music with some soft vocals. Some of Disturbed's songs for their lyrical abilities, diction and maybe rifts? Hypocrisy's Eraser for some ideas for a hard vocal - soft song. Iron Maiden (who doesn't like Iron Maiden :(?) Metallica's Death Magnetic album (Has a lot of mid vocals and decent rifts + thrash wannabe sounds). Slipknot's Psychosocial (has a similar sound to yours in terms of soft chorus). Finally, Soilwork's Exile for the amazing chorus that just feels so empowering! Try some of those, you might like some even! Those are just some suggestions to your style of music that you chose. They added the "new rules" so they can have a swifter way of filtering out a shit load of applications since, last time, they had too many applications. This way, it weeds out the bad, saving them time. Plus, by doing this, they have reasons for kicking you, before, they didn't know how long you were gone until you were "inactive". Still, I find that this is a nice refreshing way to do things. They want active GMs. This is a good way to do it.

Why are they selling Dark Lord for 40? Dark Lord has a bad effect due to the Meteor Storm effect. If attacked, it spams and prevents you from using any skills. The only real use for it is for solely MvPing or afking + meteor storm. It has no real use in PvP. Unless it is required for a quest (e.g. Elite quests, hat quests, etc) then it shouldn't be selling for such a high price. Since people are not selling it for 20, I'll raise the price to 25.

I don't see how it's funny to ride in a warship. If it's about cruising, then I've been to over 4 ships, each worth billions of dollars. Anyways, my craziest and funniest thing I've ever done was walk into a parked car right after I said a "you're so dumb you walked into a parked car" joke.
