If you want my two cents on this. Racism can end. People are just too comfortable sitting in their couches and watching TV to care about this anyways; "Oh racism is terrible! Let's go eat dinner now!". It's seriously appalling how people pretend to care but in the end they don't want to leave their comfort in exchange for some actual righteousness. The movie called "Network" succinctly describes how people today react to things like racism.
Why do I do personally? I try to stop it every way I can. If they're not going to do it, then I will. Damascus, while it may be right as to what you've said for the racism, because I'm sure you've experienced it, insulting back is not the answer. Same goes to you VapoRub. Things are done, we cannot compensate for over 600 years of pure-hearted racism, but I'll be damned if I let it be 601 years of it.
