Does the folder in which you installed fRO have any other servers in it?

I don't find any "service" button on the fRO patcher. Are you sure you're opening the file named "ForsakenRO patcher" to get online?

We could just use all the fancy techniques other servers use like threaten the players to get the server offline if they don't vote or make it so people get coupons for voting. But that's not the point of the voting system. The system implies that the player had such a nice experience that he/she feels compelled enough to help the server grow by helping at advertise. If people are not willing to vote, it can only be for one of two reasons: 1.- We, as the GM team are not providing a nice environment for people to play. 2.- The players do not feel compelled to vote. We could bother your gameplay with constant voting announces, but that would ruin the meaning of the voting.

The most easy way to spot a botter is to notice if some characters are warping away from you at inhumanely speeds. Most bots are made for melee classes, although there have been bot programs for wizards too. If you think you've spotted a boter, don't hesitate to @request us. You don't need to include a name, just the map you saw the bot in, we can check on in with that.
