limitless Posted June 4, 2008 Report Posted June 4, 2008 Ever since the server moved locations, i've noticed a significant change in delays. Every action that was once spam-able has become slow with heavy and consistent delays. I've discussed this with numerous people, and they are also experiencing this problem (One of my friends can no longer release lightning quick spurts of Bowling bashes/Spirals /awsm ) Is there a solution for this, or were delays intentionally changed?

Eregon Posted June 4, 2008 Report Posted June 4, 2008 Since the server host moved, it could have added distance between the server and your home PC. If thats the case, then there would also be an increase in Ping, which would slow the reaction time. Thus creating more delay, or lag.
Sensation Posted June 4, 2008 Report Posted June 4, 2008 You lived a 'few' miles away from the previous host and your friends probably too. This gave you a huge advantage, having a godlike ping. With the server move, I am now able to spam skills more than pre-moving. It's all about the distance, delays are still the same, it just takes a longer time to send/receive the packets.

Sensation Posted June 4, 2008 Report Posted June 4, 2008 Since you live in Germany Levis, your connection should have improved, if it didn't it's either your computer or your ISP. It's technically impossible that it got worse for you. And no we cannot change it back, this host is more stable, gives better support and secures our files much better.

Charge lags so the sprite images takes a while to catch up and actually knock back before I can start hitting them again. Also, yes, BB speed is considerably delayed. Guess its because the server got farther from me. Plus, I can no longer/sit stand "t-bag people" with the "crispness" I once did, the greatest loss of all (spike delays between the spammage). *Sigh*

It makes sense how he worded, you just interpreted it wrong. <3 And T-Bagging, is repeatedly dropping your ball sack on someone's face. Its a show of dominance and is supposed to humiliate the opponent. Or just do it between friends because its funny xD.

I read it and indterpreted what I read, not what he might have meant. and yes I know what t-bagging is, i just don't see what the deal is with fro and t-bagging ps: I never say -I'm going to hit the sac- Because once someone said something nasty and so I stopped. Plutonium Posted June 5, 2008 Report Posted June 5, 2008 I've been getting a lot of lag spikes and disconnects lately. When I get disconnected, I can't log in for awhile. Then when I log back on, it's fine for awhile, then spikes again.
