I'd have to agree with Limitless and what the others are saying - we just need more motivation for the guilds so that they can WoE too. Most of the guild leaders expect themselves to get all of the good members, but when Limitless started off with his guild, the guild was full of people without donations, elites, whatever. Some of them just began starting the server. But their guild had like a 6 week training or whatever, and took that time everyday to practice and get their gears. So yeah, they became who they are today.

Less lag? When you were WoE'ing with Limitless, the only reason you lagged was becuase of the massive Desperado spam. And It's possible to not lag when you're having a massive Desperado spam. I lagged some-what with that, but I got used to it. I guess it's just your computer or something. o_o;

And here's just a random suggestion I made up on the spot :

You know how some guilds have those guild dungeons where some MvP's are, well why not make one of the castle, or the main castle have a dungeon that only allows the guild members to enter the dungeon where they could get YGG's by hunting, etc. So basically a map where there's a lot of monsters ( like the Forsaken Dungeon ), where the guild members could hunt things. ( Almost like a free Forsaken Dungeon Pass ).

There's a huge difference between the amount of effort we put into WoE and the other guilds.

This guild was created 7 weeks before anyone ever saw us appear in WoE. Before that, WoE was a joke. Influence would take it, then Good Soup would retake it, repeat, until Seek and Destroy comes in at 50 seconds remaining.

In those seven weeks, we did nothing but recruit, gear our members and find active people suitable for the guild.

I don't bother recruiting or interviewing "pros" or "veterans", they tend to be guild hoppers. If you see any in the guild, they were friends that i could trust.

Most of our reliable players in the guild right now weren't even 255 when they were recruited, and had no donation items.

We prepared thousands of donation coupons before the guild was even created. We went over roles thoroughly, until every single member knew what to do on May 3rd, our first WoE. If they needed items, we would help them. Since then, we've held the castle increasingly steadily.

All i've seen from the invading guilds is one or two sinx's leading, with 95% of the rest being meat shields. The guild leaders haven't bothered to gear them with anything, not even skolls. They use their guild mates as a shield and abandon them for a shot at the emperium. You're better off one manning like Drax2 does.

You're not going to win a serious WoE without proper organization and coordination, something the spontaneous and blind rushes never had. Teamwork doesn't happen overnight.

Another guild will appear in the WoE scene soon to contest the castle, when they do, things will be different; there will be no room for solo'ers.

thats the ideal Guild Leader...unlike other Guild Leaders they just want TCG/TGC? cards and Fame..

WHAT CAN MAKE ME WOE?? hell good LEADERSHIP and solid CAMARADERY..

what would make me come back and woe regularly ....

GOD ITEMS (mjolnir , slepnir , etc....) they arent that godly but i'd love to have a new pair of slep's

INCENTIVE (castle drops) castle drops really f'n suck around here being that its HR server

uuuuh i got flapping wings that dont really do much flapping ... not much incentive there ...

but then again the only person getting the drops would be the guild leaders and normally they're

already overpowered, so scratch that idea

BERRY DEATH (.1% chance of coma) that takes care of your berries spamming chumps and

the emp breakers .. this idea has been shot down only because people hate dying .. should REALLY

consider it GEN

MORE CASTLES (remember last time) this will not work for long .. last time there was more than

one castle open .. the leading guild held both .. only person that could break em for 2-3 weeks was

patchworks .... ALTHOUGH more people will woe ... this time when u open a new castle you

should BROADCAST it to the whole server and not just the forumers .. if you looking for woe population boost

DISABLE WARP (hehehehe) make all these people walk to the castle .. not being able to warp seconds

away from the emp room (it only takes 10~20 seconds to walk to emp from outside the castle)

would make it more difficult for the bigger guilds to regroup and attack the way we do, adding a little confusion

because i know alot of people that DONT know how to get to the castle /lol

I got a question I missed some WoE and did you turned on the PvP at prt_gld? If not that's my wish, I hate if people stand outside and wait. I wanna kill them outside too to defend the Castle too.

does @storage/@gstorage work in WoE? sorry i never woe in servers like this one. but it would be sad if they work.

if @warp works, then disable it, kills fun and what icon said.

Nice idea, but it has to be on the same Day, because like 2h before to take the Non Donation & then the Donation ones, should be funny all with other Chars.

I like the current new ideas added (YGG box, new WOE items, etc.). Plain and simple, there is now an actual reward for WOE'ing which creates motivation and more competition. Personally, I never really had a motive to WOE before (except the few times WOEing with Gen was fun as heck). Flapping Devs are okay, but most of the time it's not distributed amongst most of the guild, and its hardly a necessity (especially if you're one of the many people who don't like these wings). YGG's make it nice and easy to distribute to the whole guild for their efforts/resources used to WOE. WOE items are actually useful now so people will want and fight to get them. Then again, its only a extra +3 stat point helm, so it's not ground breaking or a necessity for all of PvP. A very nice luxury item for the people who work at WOE for it.

As for idea of opening more castles and limitless guild...

I disagree with more castles at the moment. If no one is seriously fighting to break the current one, opening another castle only allows for the continual trend of sloppy guilds random attempting at the emp with no organization (on the second castle, since the first one is solidly held by one willing to put the effort in teamwork). WOE was meant to be a team/organization depended event. Limitless is just a good leader and knows how to organize his forces effectively. I don't think anyone can say Limitless has the best players... cause it didn't. Thi@go, Paranoia, Epic, too many to name... There are so many good players out there. Most of the people in Limit were no names when they first joined. But they quickly became good with practice, effort, and help from the guild.

P.S. join L2Aim's new guild. He is another one of the few people I think who has what it takes to be a great leader. If he can get the man power, should be an awesome force in WOE.

I just think you should open a different castle Becuase in the castle in pront its no more to go around in just that little space with like a whole guild packed in it BBing sging n such maybe open a castle that when you come in you have more space to do what you have to do.

More health for the Emperium? Like..wtf? This is madness! I mean,you can take a Emperium with a LORD KNIGHT on officials in 6 seconds zerked+gospeled,all alone.

Also,wtf is with the ''non donation Woe'' ?? Really,that'd be gaay as hell. There's no interest or fun on fights between non-donations exept for some people. Btw,why not make a non-thana room,thana-room,non-inca room,inca-room,and so on?

Limitless guild has the best champion and Lord knight ,that's an awesome thing :X Sarduarkar just owns ,then with limitless by his side,it's hard.

What I think is,the strong players should work has a team,and not has enemies. I'd like to see that D:.

But in officials, you have to walk just to get to the emp room. But in here, I guess there is @warp? Not sure, lol. And LKs get 190aspd w/ zerk and while the others just rely on ice picks with ~180aspd. I really doubt if you still know as much in officials since RO has changed a lot.

what i meant by disabling the @warp was just on the _gld maps so you cant warp in right on

top of the entrance warp to the castle ... kinda cheap even tho i do it myself

EDIT: it would make people have to rely on either walking there or warping thru the priests

like in the old days

Hmm... i think what would make me and a bunch of my newbie friends go to WOE are prizes that would not only benefit Guildmasters but newbie members as well. Let's face it, Guildmasters rarely give salaries to members, and Castle drops only goes to Guildmasters.

Often, newbies look at WOE as their chance to sell ygg tickets and edp tickets in a higher value. So they rather hunt and sell yggs or hunt for MVPs during these times.

The last guild I WOE'd for was Escape. Probably the only thing that could make me WOE is if I have a good leader to follow. I would also WOE if there were at least 3 castles. And not just 3 castles, but 3 castles with different WOE drops. Also, I would like to suggest that these three castles would have a special dungeon access to a place where MVPs spawn at a faster rate, something like every hour or two. This reason would fit in very well with the idea of opening three castles, since opening this to only one castle would just put the idea to waste. Lets say only one castle has this feature; Then people would stick together even more just to "taste the victory". If we had at least three, then there would be more guild competition is it not? Since zeny/normal gears aren't even looked at in this server, then the MVP cards would be a great substitute for the guild salary, not to mention more guild fun activities. I don't know if my idea is possible, but I'd like to give it a shot. It will invite more loyal guildsmen and more guild action as well. The dungeon can also be mixed with Ami's Ygg dungeon. It could be an MVP/Ygg dungeon.

More reasons to make/lead guilds? Yes. More reasons to WOE? For sure.

Also, I'm offering my services to any guild leaders who would be worthy enough to follow. I am not a leader-type person, since being a guild leader is a pain. I'd be a follower instead.

I think it would be very hard to get through the castle with MVPs serving as substitutes for Guardians. Its something like the skoll summoning scroll, only this time, other MVPs will attack the intruders and not the guild holders.

Either way is fine with me.

About Jerry's idea with MvP's being the guardians, why not just make the guardians have the powers of like an MvP?

Empty castles have MvP's in it if they are enabled.
