Genesis Posted April 28, 2008 Report Posted April 28, 2008 Its nowhere near complete. If you don't like it you here is what you do: 1. Scroll down. 2. On your bottom left hand side you will see "ForsakenRO" 3. Select which skin you could like. 4. Done.

Denzel Crocker Posted April 28, 2008 Report Posted April 28, 2008 To: Genesis, somewhere in your control panel for this site, there is a statistics link, it "should" have a bunch of stuff on the users that visit this site, including Region,OS,Browser and maybe "Resolution", please check to see what the average resolution is, because i run 1024x768. and this new forum is quite annoying for me, however if the average forsakenro player uses something higher, then i got no complaints.

Like what these 2 people said, it's confusing and it's too large. according to today's monitors min resolution, the standards are 1024x768 - 1280x1024 which this style is based on. Tho making it 800x600 would not be a problem, its about resizing everything yet its up to the admins, they wanted it like this, I gave them what they wanted :) Confusing? how come, an explanation on what is confusing would be great

Anyway, It's too bright and there are no guidelines after each sub-forum / section or whatever you call it. And we can just keep the profile info below the Avatar instead of the profile info being isolated to the right side of every posts. In any case, if I don't really like it, I can just select other skins /ok

In any case, if I don't really like it, I can just select other skins /ok Well as I said the style was custom made with those parameters such as, the avatar on the left and info on right because on my forums I got on the right the team icons and ranks, which will be added by genesis (hopefully) today and if I left the avy with those it would have been damn cluttered so no, im a bit of a perfeccionist ><. I told genesis the banner is damn bright for my taste, did a custom but well :> he decided whats good for the community and if he decided this banner is the best one then thats the one.

I think I speak for a lot of forum-ers when I claim that we're used to seeing the info on the left with the avatar, but why not make it unique and place it on the right? I think I like it better on the right anyways. It might be because I'm running a widescreen anyways as well, lol. But I also go on another forum where the avatar is right at the top of the post...thus creating opportunity for more creative signature formats. I'd provide an example, but they banned graphical signatures a while ago lol. Anywho, gold stars for the artist/designer!!!
