Control panel won't let me register?

Whenever I try to register I get "

Error

An error occurred while trying to process your request.

Please try contacting an administrator: admin@localhost"

 

since that is a default page, it provides no email to contact anyone by. So how do I register an account exactly? Am I missing something?

i have the same prob. I use  web.de as E-mail service provider. An answer would be nice, since its a common question on this board.

I think everything already fixed now, we can access Control Panel normally again. Before past few days there is error and we couldn't access to vote either.
