niemono89 Posted January 7, 2019 Report Posted January 7, 2019 (edited) A New versatile ideas of offensive type pally ❤️ Thus, These unique skills and the soul link of pally gave me a new build suggestion :3 Crusader Spirit->Soullinks to Crusaders and Paladins, making their Shield Boomerang never miss, do double the damage, and halving its after cast delay Shield Boomerang->Throw shield at enemy. Heavier and higher refined shields do more damage. Damage is 100%+30*SkillLV. Requires an equipped shield and ignores size modifications Shield Charge->Hits enemy with shield. Knocks back and has a chance of stunning. Requires an equipped shield and ignores size modifications. Damage is (100+20*SkillLV)% ATK, Stun Chance is (15+5*SkillLV)%, Knock back is 4+SkillLV cells 1st for the new pally's valk shield idea: [Can't equip with any other shields, 4 slots like a valk weapon setting, 2 handed type ❤️ ] STR+50, VIT+30, Max HP+15%, Max SP+15%, ATK+(around 100-200) Reduce damage taken from demihumans by (around 10-20%) Increase damage with shield boomerang by (around 100-350%) Increase damage with shield charge by (around 50-150%) Increase all shield's type SP skill consumption by (around 10-20%)[pharaoh penalty] Auto-cast defender by 6% when receives any damage[extra option 1] Stone curse a target by (around 5-10%) chances when receives any damage[extra option 2] Converts (around 10-40%) of all ranged attacks from enemy into HP recovery[extra option 3] *This is a valk weapon with 2h setting, so any weapon cards should fit into it ❤️ * *Please choose either option 1/2/3 into that 2h shield ❤️❤️ * *Current friggs shield were already tankable. If I suggest right hand for another 'shield' weapon(1h), would sounds like an unlogical facts XD That's y it should be 2h type valk setting~^ * *Tg, thana, inca affects both skills by major ❤️ (shield boomerang, shield charge) * 2nd for the new pally's ring idea: STR+40, VIT+25, SP+5%, walking speed+15%, ATK+100 Reduce damage taken from demihumans by (around 10-15%) Reduce Vit def by 10% Increase damage with shield boomerang by (around 30-60%) Increase damage with shield charge by (around 20-50%) Reflect (around 40-80%) of all magical attacks to the target caster [extra option, since gtb is a shield card XD] Decrease damage of gloria domini, grand cross, matyr's reckoning, holy cross by 100% [balancer] Self cast crusader spirit soul link when this ring is equip-on(the link would remove, when ring is equip-off) [Important] 3rd for the new pally's rune: [Specially slot-in for 2h pally's valk shield] STR+15, Max Hp and Sp+5%, ATK+30, ranged attack+5% Increase damage with shield boomerang by (around 100-150%) Increase damage with shield charge by (around 50-100%) Hope this new paladin buff suggestion could be a greater build-up in the future ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ ~ Plus, Hope GM's team+players love these new suggestion too :3 ~ Edited January 11, 2019 by niemono89 盾の勇者の成り上がり
gunxsword11 Posted April 4, 2019 Report Posted April 4, 2019 (edited) oh this idea is actually interesting ..... i think only the idea though , making shield a [4] slot weap and have it function as a weapon might make it things too complicated ...... but going with the idea itself, then its prob better to just make a new ring and have it boost shield boomerang damage while keeping the same or making a new spear for pally exclusive for boomerang .... that prob makes more sense than making a [4] shield to be a weapon Edited April 4, 2019 by gunxsword11 1
niemono89 Posted April 4, 2019 Author Report Posted April 4, 2019 Actually I prefer to use shield as a main-hand for any shield skills. It does boost major damage(if it gets those buff) ❤️ plus valk spears of paladin already exist for this server :3
gunxsword11 Posted April 5, 2019 Report Posted April 5, 2019 (edited) In all RO database - even in official RO servers .... paladins skills are already based on SHIELDS itself .... making a 2-hand shield to function as a WEAPON would mean you would not be able to use pally original skills that are based on shields because the system itself would recognize that 2- hand shield weap that you want AS A WEAPON NOT AS A SHIELD meaning you want be able to use pally shield base skills SINCE it is not identified as a shield but as a weapon - so technically it is impossible Your suggestion of adding a new build for pally like a boomerang build is a great idea - but the way you exactly want it to be is not , just saying Edited April 5, 2019 by gunxsword11
