amyxmini Posted January 1, 2016 Report Share Posted January 1, 2016 Hello, I just recently downloaded Forsaken RO and whenever I try to put in my login info I always receive the message "Failed to connect to server". As of yet I have never successfully logged in or created a character.I have tried patching it manually, and I have excluded Forsaken RO from my antivirus scans and firewall. I've also checked my ping to the server and it's always 100+. Not sure what to do or what the problem is, any help would be appreciated. :) Thanks! Bishop Posted January 4, 2016 Report Share Posted January 4, 2016 Hi there, if you're able to ping just fine but can not connect to the server then something is blocking your FkenRO client from accessing the internet. I'd recommend to close all your internet browser windows, then disable your antivirus and firewall for 1 minute to see if this allows you to connect. Ares Posted January 7, 2016 Report Share Posted January 7, 2016 I would also like to know if you are using WTFast, Pingzapper, or any program to boost your ping? Don't worry because these programs are legal but I encountered a problem just a while ago that I could not connect to fRO with Pingzapper.
