Ship Captain Hat And Bio Acid Build

Does Ship Captain Hat have any effect on Acid Bomb dmg? I might use my activity tokens to purchase the SCH but if it doesn't have any effect I might look for a different one. Thank you!

Ship Captain Hat only affects physical ranged damage.
Acid Demo is considered magical.

AD isnt magical. GTB cannot block it, Mdef have no effect reducing damage and Matack doest increase damage. AD is physical ranged attack (pneuma can block it) but have a specific damage formula different from every other physical ranged attack:

Damage formula, from RMS, per hit is: [(0.7 * Target's VIT * Creator's INT^2) / (Target's VIT + Creator's INT)]*(1+SpecificModifier).

So, Acid Demonstration doesn't take up: Weapon Property, Racial/Elemental/Size modifiers or increase physical range modifier. Ship captain doent affect AD damage.

To increase damage you have to invest int or increase Specific modifier, like legenday mace (+60% AD damage) and infernal cape (+10% AD damage).

To summarize it: NOTHING affects AD damage aside from these things: Bio's INT, enemy's VIT, Jormungandr's Rage, Legendary BIo Mace, Bio Infernal Cape, Blessed Bio Ring.
