I tried to fix it in opensetup.exe but it doesn't fix it i'm running win10 and i used the all in one installer.

Try clicking REG instead of LUA in opensetup.

Here's a simple fix that we normally do:

1) close all running applications

2) right click fkenro.exe > properties > compatibility > windows xp

3) repeat step 2 to setup.exe

4) double click setup.exe and choose desired resolution

5) run fkenro.exe (it should be okay now)

6) play like there's no tomorrow

I had the same issue on windows 10. I followed the video below and now is working fine.

Also remember to run both setup.exe and fkenro.exe as admin that will allow you to pick the resolution you want. Worked for me.
