matoi06 Posted April 4, 2015 Report Posted April 4, 2015 (edited) any 1 can help me with a solution, lol i have post with my picture link http://postimg.org/image/t7rulzosz/ Hi. i have the very same error as kopiguy above. tried updating the opensetup.exe but error is encountered -- "Selected settings engine has determined, that your installation state will interfere with the correct loading and saving of settings." appreciate the assistance here. Edit: just tried to follow some of the previous tips here (run the opensetup.exe as admin, update driver, etc.) but none seem to still work. whenever i try to "OK/apply" changes to opensetup it only ends up in the error above (there was also no setup.log file found). thanks. (am using Windows7 btw) Edited April 4, 2015 by matoi06

(am using Windows7 btw) I'll address this first. ForsakenRO's settings program isn't named opensetup.exe, it's simply Setup.exe with a round icon of a girl You might've been running the wrong program for adjusting ForsakenRO. :) Ontopic: Run 'Setup.exe' then change the resolution to something above '600 x 480 x 16'. If you can't see any resolutions, run Setup.exe in Admin mode. :)

iCrush213 Posted April 4, 2015 Report Posted April 4, 2015 Which "All In One" did you download? The torrent or the .exe? Primary download All-In-One Download kRO + fRO files .exe? yeah, i guess?
Aerofox Posted April 4, 2015 Report Posted April 4, 2015 Primary download All-In-One Download kRO + fRO files .exe? yeah, i guess? For now, try reinstalling the game in a completely different folder. I'm downloading the .exe by the time I'm posting this reply to check if it does, because I downloaded mine via torrent. :) I'll get back on this thread after 3 hours maybe.
Ares Posted April 4, 2015 Report Posted April 4, 2015 Add me up on Skype : ares.forsakenro I'd be happy to help you on this one.
Bishop Posted April 4, 2015 Report Posted April 4, 2015 (edited) Replacing the opensetup.exe for setup.exe should fix your issue. Depending on your computer setup the client will either listen to the opensetup.exe or the regular one (in certain modes). I'll upload a regular setup.exe once I get to my pc and that + our troubleshooting guide should help you out. Link to regular setup.exe (Please make a backup of your current setup first before replacing it): http://www.filedropper.com/setup_13 Edited April 5, 2015 by Bishop
kacki Posted August 21, 2015 Report Posted August 21, 2015 (edited) Coming back after years, I've faced the same issue. This http://forum.ratemyserver.net/ro-client-support/problems-with-the-size-of-the-window/ somehow seems like a workaround. Requires some registry modifying (Win+R, enter "regedit"). Lost in values, using my current screen resolution shows me just a part of the window. Within the setup exe, I am having no possibility to select a resolution (just 4 graphic cards (D3d, D3d T&L, Intel HD, Intel HD), changing those doesnt have any effect) Using W 640 H 480 within the registry, then fullscreen within the setup exe doesn't show the window at al It seems to work for me via 1024 / 768. Also, via setting fullscreenmode within the registry to 0! 1024/768 works, however, graphics (not texts) are highly pixelized! Edited August 21, 2015 by kacki
Bishop Posted August 21, 2015 Report Posted August 21, 2015 The above is not necessary. We already have solutions in place for this problem. Please don't revive dead topics, I do not recommend registry changes.
