Rayray Posted October 2, 2013 Report Posted October 2, 2013 I can't be sure of this, I do not know if my memory is hazy or something but I seem to remember some valk helms with extra stats like that, but that was long ago.
Bishop Posted October 2, 2013 Report Posted October 2, 2013 I'm confused as to what valk helm are you referring to, If you're referring to the forsaken king hat / imps (whom's sprite is originally called Vakyria helmet) then no, all those helmets have the same effect and all imps have the same effect as well. If you're referring to the other valkyrie helmet then I can't say with 100% certainty.

However, two item ID's have been found for a red valkyria helmet. Would it be possible that the folder in which you have installed fRO has other server files (data folders included) in it? This could be a cause for different item descriptions.

This could be a cause for different item descriptions. I can see it as well, and I downloaded the full client from the FRO page, and have no other RO files in the folder. It seems like the items had an older effect and then when they changed it they just forgot to erase the description, so now it has multiple descriptions. Edited October 3, 2013 by dalehohn512
Bishop Posted October 3, 2013 Report Posted October 3, 2013 Question : Do these helmets also show the true effect of the valk helm or only this effect ? + Please test whether the effects in the description are working, cause I doubt it. If they also show the regular valk helm effects then it's certainly a description bug caused by the update from item id's.
L2Aim Posted October 4, 2013 Report Posted October 4, 2013 I installed fRO again to see how things could be a little bit messed up. The helmet I was wearing was completely different in the description than its original effect. Re-equipping and/or relogging fixed the issue at hand. The item IDs seem to be linked to different items initially and need to adjust. I don't have this problem anymore, so it should be easily solved.

Many months ago we switched to renewal with lots of new items and item id changes. We recommended a character-look reset and to re-equip the items after. This might be one of those rare cases in which someone did not yet re-equip the item.
