anthon95
Well, honestly I'm making this for reference to anyone who wants to know how to heal Emperium. First of all, HOW DO YOU ACTUALLY HEAL AN EMPERIUM? As said in iRO wiki and in the skills, there are only two means of healing Emperium. ONLY these two means can heal it and not any other skill can do so. These are: - Sanctuary - Gospel/Battle Chant For some wondering, and for those who really doesn't know, the skill 'Heal' of acolytes/priests cannot heal Emperium. It is because Ragnarok said so. And that's the end of it. Heal can be maximized in High-rate servers, such as this server we are currently playing, thus making the healing of emperium to an extent where it doesn't even get damaged. With a full-geared High Priest, let's say a High Priest with 4 Bacsojin's/White Lady, 2 Urd's, a Priest Highness and a Cursed Priest Ring, a High Priest's heal can go up to 300+k per Heal. Which means spamming it on emp makes it nearly impossible for breakers to break it if a full-geared Support Priest is spamming it on Emp. Also, Heal has no after-cast delay. It has a standard two spams per second (if you are in full aspd, I think.) So, I think it is reasonable that Sanctuary and Battle Chant are the only skills capable of healing emp. For those people who thought that Sanctuary doesn't heal Emperium, let me give you a short and precise lecture: - Sanctuary is an AOE skill using a 5x5 cell area. - Characters and non-undead/non-demon monsters are healed once a second within the cell area of a casted Sanctuary, unless at full HP. - Undead and Demon property monsters take Holy Property damage that are half the healing rate of the casted Sanctuary who stands beside or near it. - Sanctuary's targets are determined by the following priorities: 1. Player with Current HP less than max HP. 2. Non-Undead/Non-Demon property monsters with current HP less than max HP. 3. Undead and Demon property monsters. Why am I explaining this? - Because there are people who doesn't believe that Sanctuary heals Emp. First of all, Emperium is considered as a monster. It can even be viewed in the @mobinfo/@mi command that players can use. And the Emperium is a Holy Property monster which means Sanctuary heals it because of the conditions that it determines to see if it heals or damages a monster. Therefore, that being said, Priority #2 runs whenever Sanctuary is placed on Emperium and thus healing the Emperium the same amount that it heals a player. With a full-geared Support Priest, a Sanctuary can heal up to 40+k per second, making it a fair healer for WoE. With an estimated skill duration of 25 seconds, a full-geared priest can heal Emperium by about 1 million HP for 25 seconds. And you do the math for minutes. For those who doesn't believe that Emperium can be healed by Sanctuary, you haven't been reading much. I suggest you guys take an RO school or whatever. Well, that concludes everything you need to know about healing Emperium. If you ever found people trying to say that Emperium cannot be healed by any means, take them here. I have been playing priest for months now. I've dedicated myself not in being a battle priest, but a support priest in those times, and until now. I have healed Emperium for my guild and in my experience, breakers cannot break Emperium that easily when a Support Priest heals Emperium all day long. I think most people who uses Priest as their main character would agree with me. Thank you for taking your time reading this short and almost out of the blue guide. But believe me, it serves as reference for something going on right now in Forsaken RO's world. Once again, thank you. And for those who don't know who I am... My name is Hyun. Rayray
Genesis already replied to the other thread saying this. Sanctuary heals emp in RO mechanics as far as we know. However, even 4x bacsojin, it will never outheal the damage of one decent breaker. Also, keep in mind that not all breakers are sinx.

About what happen last Euro woe Crayons attack around 57 they were all dead around 58;13 which gave us time to heal the emperium for 1 minute 45 seconds (1;45) Priest with 4 bacosojin spamming the emperium 25 seconds 4 bacsojin can heal around 700K+ to emp and we have more than 25 seconds and we keep sanctuary on until Last minute woe the only guild who reaches the emp is crayon 1 pally and 1 breaker you can see how many Hit he landed because hes a crit breaker and we only saw 1 hit calculate the healing and 1 hit break and explain to us HOW? I am wondering as much as you do. However, I myself didn't see the thing you guys claim as one hit on the emp. We can go back and forth here, you have your side and crayon's side and unless a higher up GM was on that time, or someone got fraps on, we might never know. Does multiple sanctuary STACKS heals on the emp? because if it doesn't, the heal you think that it can get might be wrong. There are other questions as well, and it would be better if you guys tell it to Genesis play by play of what you saw and what happened. It goes alot of ways, it might be a bug exploit regarding the emp, something might have changed that the emp doesn't heal because I remember Elith being able to heal it before, there might be another breaker beside a sinx in there that is hitting the emp that you guys didn't notice(not necessarily from Crayon) and then the sinx just got a lucky hit then. Although I have one question in mind, no offense but, why is there no one safety walling the emp, or is there someone doing that and for some reason it still broke? Rayray
I wanna hear from crayon's side then, Because this is too one sided. Unless there is a proof about this, it will just sound like bitterness. I am not judging either sides, but I don't believe in something unless there's proof. ChainBreak
Please tell me more about how you calculate sanctuary heal. The base heal of sanctuary is fixed at a maximum of 777 and heals once per second. (1+0.3+0.3+0.3+0.3)*777 = 1709.4 With the stacking cap of cards: 2 * 777 = 1554 in 1 minute and 45 seconds that are 163 170 HP if there's one sanctuary doing continuing heals for the emp. Even if you stacked 20 sanctuaries at the emp the whole time it would only amount to 3 263 400 total HP healed. Also a sanctuary expires once it uses up it's maximum number of heals (26) so if you have people standing on the sanctuary aoe it will expire very fast. In renewal mechanics it doesn't even allow stacking so be glad we are on pre-newal. edit: forgot the cards only allow stacking up to 100% bonus. Bishop
Just to clear things up a little: 1: Sanctuary does not stack in any way. Only 1 can be active on each tile, there's no way to stack heals with sanctuary. 2: 700k is not that much, it can be drained within seconds with 1 or 2 breakers. So I personally don't see anything odd here. ( I find the 1 hit story rather hard to believe ) 3: Chainbreak, your calculations are off by a lot. Bacsojin cards are customized on our server to increase healing done by a lot more. There's no 100% cap on additional damage/healing to skills, there's only a % cap to race amplifiers. Dany.
First of all i know what you think. You've spread to the server that a gm edited my status and make it to 500 Well i don't know why you keep on saying that but take a look about the reply of Genesis. You personally ask him instead of spreading a rumor. By the way here's the reply from him. No GM, not even myself, can edit stats ingame. I specifically engineered it this way to prevent any sort of abuse. Also, the only GMs that was on around the time of WoE were myself, Veracity and Dream. none of which used any commands to warp, recall, kill, etc. Now i hope it will make things clear out now. Actually it's not even a 1 hit. Before the 15 secs break it's not even 5 secs coz i do @time always and i was able to attack it at 59:44-45. But before that we were able to attack the emp already at 57:00 and give the emp alot of damages and before we attacked it at 57:00 the emp was attacked by alot of breakers by different guilds already. Remember that the emp's hp isn't 1.2billion anymore.
MikeJamez
hmm you guys are blind then if u think just 1 pala 1 sinx.. when also jano was there cause i devod him.. i seen also another breaker there he was a dark pallet.. i seen him periodically throughout woe sitting by the emp..every dmgd the emp to the point it was pretty much about to break we thought.. was on my LK for 56 minutes dmging emp with 2x gloom armor and thana on my Freyrs blade.. , + undefeated guild breakers made it to emp quite a few times.. the dmg a sinx can do can far outpass a 2min heal by sanct whether its working or not in a matter of seconds.. i dont see why you guys are accusing us of cheating ? its a simple win with some luck on our side.. this all coming from a guild that has cheated before to try and beat us? and their leaders know cheaters / abusers ? .. Just settle down.. see you guys next woe..
jameslamela
we undefeated guild start rushing on emp at 55 then start breaking at 57... at 59 alot of us died coz vengeance def was too overwhelming, but i believe some of us resisted and still at emp room before woes over. i cant see any cheat happen during the last woe at geffen. it was just a mere luck of crayon guild that they won... Rayray
Reading Bishop's reply, I have to conclude that the sanctuary heal amount you guys from vengeance thought it did was off by a long shot. And any sinx, or any class that has breaking cards(gloom, fbh, thana) would outdamage the heal that your sanctuary did in just a few seconds. It doesn't mean that if you healed the emp for 2 minutes, it would take a breaker 2 minutes to bring down the same amount. The HP of the emp is around 700k now, that takes less than 20 seconds to bring down. Which Crayon's reply seem to have already answered. Next time, don't rely on sanctuary alone, I was astounded that no one is spamming safety wall that close to the end of woe.

Bishop
I took the 700k from the amount they claimed to have healed. The emp itself should have a lot more hp than 700k (at the start of woe) (use @mi). However attacks were launched over several minutes, the sanctuary wasn't able to heal against the damage and thus it broke in the end. I'll close this topic to prevent any more accusations going back and forth. Good luck next WoE everyone.
