bboygarrison Posted June 10, 2013 Report Posted June 10, 2013 (edited) I have a better alternative/solution to this though, and I find it easy to code. 1. make thana_boss map unwarpable to players using @warp command. 2. Create an NPC, which will check if you have the fragments, if you do, it will warp you and your party to thana_boss 3. Proceed as usual The NPC and thana_boss map should have a 2 hour reset window. Meaning it will not allow players to go in if the time limit is still up. I put that since thana_boss map resets after killing thanatos in about 2 hours. Obviously it would take a couple of mins to kill thana if you are not geared so we can also put the reset window to about 3 hours. It all depends on the coder on how he will implement it anyway. ALSO to prevent abuse, thana_boss will warp out EVERYONE after thanatos is killed. around 10 seconds or so, it should force warp people out. this guy is a genius O_O yea +1 on what rayray said... and also in addition, make it like some kind of quest... like whats in ratemyserver.. to make it challengng ^^ Edited June 10, 2013 by bboygarrison

El7 Posted June 10, 2013 Report Posted June 10, 2013 (edited) The one who first summon thanatos will stay (party members can stay too) in the map while the others will be warped in fcity and cannot warp in the thana map when thana is still alive. Which will then allow you the summoner and party to be warped to a duplicate thana map which is unwarable by command.. I would avoid npc cause ppl will spam chat it. or unless map can be locked after thana is spawned preventing others from ksing.
Victoria Posted June 13, 2013 Report Posted June 13, 2013 I heard from some people that this had been an issue since, sometimes many players are killing thana then all accidentaly died including the summoner and one is left who killed thana and got the card (they didn't know who got the card). so i guess, it would be fairer if GMs will fix this :)

Coz it was announced before that after putting the fragments, it won't summon in the middle, to avoid ks.. But yeah, it sucks like after putting your fragments, killing the mobs, you go to the middle and you see someone else kills the one you summoned. Taking screenshots is not convenient too, you have competition, so you cant ss while putting the fragments in.. zergling Posted June 17, 2013 Report Posted June 17, 2013 Exactly, and that's a real pain when it's not even a person doing the thanatos hunting. I had to fight bots to kill thana and so I would just let them summon it and I would KS the bot. It's almost impossible to take the SS on top of summoning thana. So yea something needs to happen to fix this. For those that think I was just KSing players and not bots, unless a player can instantly type the fragment in as soon as they warp to the crest then it's not a person and it's a program.

PS: Zergling, I already told you a long time ago when that happened it was NOT a bot, it was a player, and you were KSing them. Please stop spreading false information.
