It needs to have a hard delay because it's far too spammable. It jumps a large number of cells and jumps over shit making it far better than backslide. In any case it needs to get a hard delay of 2-3 seconds (then perhaps it would be enabled for woe again?).

Leap is no different from backslide / snap / shadow jump. You just want it nerfed cause you get beat by a soul linker and are trying to find a way around it.

That is the only way a soul linker can actually get out of harms way. Kaupe isn't that spammable and it is so easy to remove 3 chances of being invulnerability with 195 aspd. Soul Linkers already have crappy HP, and leap cannot be used in pvp room anyway so I see nothing but harm on nerfing it.

Soul Linkers have the running skill which can be used after high jump making them able to get away just fine. It's retarted that they can spam high jump without any regard for SP because they are an magic class unlike sinx who require 2 FBH for the damage and are forced to monitor their SP. They can deal heavy magic aoe on top of the bolts, and the kaziel lets them survive if their target decides to use reflect. They don't have crap for HP their HP is pretty decent with the right gears(and the auto rez is pretty good too). The class shouldn't so much be about spamming high jump and more about tactics instead of running from every potential hit while using full matk gear.

Magic aoe? you mean thunder storm from using piamette ears? Oh and I do not see what you mean with their HP being pretty decent. I got around 130k on one tao and I am using Eidelic Wings. I doubt any other soul linker has that much HP even with ring. Running won't help much if it was blocked by a player or an obstacle, which is easy to do if you know where the soul linker is gonna land after the leap. It's Ka- skills are easy to remove by just a few shots. auto resu can only be spammed if soul linker used 2x beelzebub, but then again no one would unless they go on just reflect build.

and again, full matk has so many disadvantages. just use maya card and im pretty sure the soul linker will die if he spams bolts with that crappy hp. As a magic class, we are not profs who has so many defensive skills, nor are we like wizards that could get a one good burst damage and great aoe, add the fact that both class got safety wall and energy coat.

The high jump gives them a massive advantage over wizard and professor. They have equal damage output to professor and wizard, and high jump and then running you won't be able to block unless you're a champ and one that's got very fast reflexes. Not to mention the fact that if there was a hard delay on the high jump it might be able to be returned to woe.

He complains about Leap, but then goes on a Star Gladiator and runs away with it. Seems pretty hypocritical considering at least SG's have much more hp than SL's.

The fact that I play star gladiator and use it, and yet have suggested that it have a delay just shows that I don't mind having the delay put on my own class.

Compared to star gladiators who can pretty much kill any 3 classes it chooses and doesn't get screwed by gtb, soul linkers needed the leap.

They force the GTB then deal 12k+ with stave so they don't need the leap to be effective.

Right, because against ANYONE who can carry more than 200 seeds (which is most classes) they're going to be killed by a 12k+ stave, ok. Most people use Pneuma cards in their accessories anyways. So the point is moot. Soul Linkers have shit HP, can barely carry 200 seeds, and do medicore damage. EVEN with the Soul Linker Cursed Ring.
