U need 300 int and vit[200++] dex ???+???=150 aspd 195 str enuf to hold seeds how2play= spam seeds and GC together! Items u neeed: Helm[2kiel] aura[1kiel] RS[mayap] armor [ i suggest 2x tao/tao+gr] cloak[ 2x skoll/2xraydric] boots[2x fbh] 2x Int belts Shield[usakoring/maya/gtb] Weapon[4x kingring/metaing+dwar+vr+sk] Little Tips : Dont use Defending aura if u want higher dmg=D Quote

Rayray Posted April 4, 2013 Report Posted April 4, 2013 Yep, GTB counters GC. But that is the only Pally build that actually does good damage at this moment(unless you count reflect paladins). They are amazing Castle Defenders, all you need to do is pair them up with a gunslinger. You wouldn't be using GTB when you see those two classes spamming at the entrance. Quote

BUT you have to catch good people off guard. Or use orc lords then it would be much easier. But again people have to hit you enough to die. Zero. What about a shield chain build? I wanna test +10 frigg vs +0. With kiels it can spam nearly like speed casters at up to 10k per hit so could be deadly if the +10 adds enough. Think 1 skoll should counter 1 +10 item? I still learning alot about this server yes. *Note my old server gc pally was a beast, i could solo whole guilds so Quote

It has decent speed now BUT the alternate skill you need for that build if Shield Chain damage sucks(meaning they are using GR+devilings or raydrics) which is Holy Cross still has a big delay even with 3 kiels. It used to be a beast before, but with the recent delays, I haven't used my paladin again. I'll get back at you after I am done testing. :D Quote

Lots of hp but take more damage for many types of attacks. I prefer staying at 700k hp. More = no sacrificing lots of resistances. OT> of thread haha I should have been more forum active long ago. Good to toss ideas / pick up on the differences from Lightside RO (now dead low rate) to FRO. Thanks for help. Hrmm yea holy cross is always slow, any cards you can think of that give a decent attack? What about something like envenom or something even, i know a card can give that? Possible to change / add poison damage on your attacks. I know it says that cards that add element type to weapon don't work but maybe a skill? Either way seems stat builds would ruin most skills i could try, least off top of my head........ that go with Devo or GC build. Just thinking of some fun new idea to change when not woeing, or just make different pally to rotate to non woe. Thinking of getting into pvp but paying salary and castles NEVER dropping = exp. and now the econ wreckers = worse. Quote

Champ will easily kill you off if you use gtb. naw... the frickin, super,heavily,expensive lookin geared champs can 1 hit me when i use GTB.. so i just need to watch for my HP and spam seeds ^^ or fast switch... cuz the geared, but not frickin, super, heavily geared, champs can kill me with 2 asura with GTB and 4 asura if i used usakoring..
