zergling Posted December 6, 2012 Report Posted December 6, 2012 due to the fact that i'm currently the only one that plays the class(well) i have to say that the HP mod compared to ALL other classes is complete and total crap. that being said they can put out decent damage but they have almost no HP to tank anything.

zergling Posted December 6, 2012 Author Report Posted December 6, 2012 every other class has a better HP mod than star gladiator... hell my champion can do the same thing but the fact is a champion can deal more damage than a star gladiator can. every other class in this game has a better HP mod than star gladiator. 200k with 2 tao's and over 120 vit is complete shit. mind you i'm also using friggs which boosts the HP by another 5%. this ton top of being forced to use really awkward stat setup makes us forced to have lower vit than we would normally get so they need to have an HP boost.

Couple flying kicks to a sinx without a shield and they drop like flys and 90 vit gives you 280k hp on sinx? Bullshit... Ps: hate when people compare classes

zergling Posted December 6, 2012 Author Report Posted December 6, 2012 granted my star gladiator deals higher damage against a sinx but against a class that i don't have hatred on it's next to nothing. the fact of the matter is that star gladiators do not have the HP to tank that other classes have. if you take a look at lord knights they have a shit ton of HP, same as pally and sinx. even a whitesmith and biochemist have more HP than a star gladiator and they can take on any other job a star gladiator cannot.

Other people who copied you after seeing you in action this past days wouldn't be able to give correct input since i am pretty sure your build is different than they think to do that much damage on people you have hatred on. sadly, people you fought whose characters are the ones you have hatred to, probably sinx, snipers and stalkers if i am gonna guess, would disagree since they see your damage as OP and really doesn't understand most SG's skills. but I do agree on raising SG's HP a little due to the fact that it is not a trans class, which makes it's hp crappier than my biochem. a little hp in my opinion wouldn't hurt. reading the suggestion, you wouldn't want a tao gunka effect increase on SGs(like most characters have), but you would want an edit on the hp modifier of the class itself. am I correct? either way, if it''s editing the hp modifier or giving a better tao effect, +1. zergling Posted December 8, 2012 Author Report Posted December 8, 2012 well that's not really the point... but the point you made just further shows the reasoning for boosting the HP of star gladiator... if a sinx can get over 300k HP with a tao+GR combo and yet a star gladiator can barely get over 200k with friggs+2x tao+2 skolls+ROP how does that make any sense?
