Kinglance Posted December 23, 2011 Author Report Posted December 23, 2011 Yea how about doing a team pvp event on the battle grounds have to be geared and emp or at least 1 thing you cant get too easily so it can be fair and no one can get killed too easily.
dadron3 Posted December 23, 2011 Report Posted December 23, 2011 I don't think gear should matter - in Last Team Standing there were both geared and non geared players and the teams were (supposed to be) divided evenly. Even if you die easily, there's a "stronger" player on your team to make up for it, and everyone on the team gets part of the reward, not just the last players standing. Events with teams should be for everyone! If it were about gears, it could just be plain old LMS. I think it would be great to have "more" events that would appeal to both old and new players. But more importantly I think we need some new event token purchase-able items, event tokens sell for as much as 40 mil, which is what I buy regular tokens at, point being there's not much demand for it ... But that's off topic. I recall the good old days when there used to be all sorts of events, we didn't have a higher server population; I don't think. But there certainly were less afk-ing people if that counts for anything !

Shield Posted December 24, 2011 Report Posted December 24, 2011 (edited) I think that there's some kind of "capture the flag" type events coded already somewhere that I'm sure incorporate something liek the emp, no? I feel like I've heard of it before. Haha, you're getting old and your memory is starting to fail ! :P I remember the NPC being there(cloaked) for the longest time but the event was abandoned due to some bug/glitch/exploit that was never resolved.
