wazzap_mr Posted December 21, 2011 Report Posted December 21, 2011 hi I'm a new player here and is playing sniper for the time being.. i want to know how i can make the elite set thing i was reading the old posts here but when i click on the links it says error.. same goes in the wiki page it leads me to a no page found... mind telling me? thanks in advance :)

Aerynth Posted December 26, 2011 Report Posted December 26, 2011 Oh the Knight Quest that Nad mentioned about, the pre-requirement of it is that you have to be an Elite. Do the Elite Quest Part 1 and move on to the Knight Quest. But then again, sniper does not have the continuation quest on Knight, so I reckon if you do not want to buy the bow, considering going through Part 2 as well.

Nadtorious Posted December 27, 2011 Report Posted December 27, 2011 What Aerynth meant. You can get a weapon from the Lord Knight quest, however it exclude Sniper. You wont get a Sniper Weapon from Lord Knight quest, you can only get the Gear Set. There are 2 parts on the Elite Quests. I. Upon completing, you are announced as an Elite player. You get a bonus of 200 extra status points. II. When completed, you get the Sniper Elite set & weapon. ~ To be able to do the Lord Knight quest you need to finish the first part of the Elite Quest. (This is what Aerynth is trying to say.) Since you dont get a Lord Knight, sniper weapon. Aerynth advice you to do the second part of the Sniper Elite quest to obtain a Sniper weapon. Saves you tokens :)
Veracity Posted December 27, 2011 Report Posted December 27, 2011 To clarify a few things: it's not the Lord Knight quest, it's the Forsaken Knight quest. Calling it a Lord Knight quest is confusing because it makes it seem class specific when it's not. As Nadtorious said, there are 2 parts to the Forsaken Elite Quest. There are also two parts of the Forsaken Knight quest. The first part, you become a Forsaken Knight and receive your armor (unlike the elite gear, this armor can be worn on any class and has similar effects to the Forsaken King [donation] equipment). The second part of the quest, you receive a weapon that is similar to the most recently released Valkyrie Weapons. However, not all classes had new Valkyrie weapons, which means that only the following classes can receive new items from the 2nd part of the Forsaken Knight quest: Lord Knights, Gypsy/Bard, Paladins, Whitesmith, Gunslingers, Ninjas, Priests, Professors, Creators, and Assassin Crosses. We will be releasing new versions of Forsaken Knight (or "Legendary") weapons for the remaining Valkyrie Weapons sometime in the future. That is why they were recommending you do complete the second part of the Elite quest to receive a weapon from that. Then you can do the Forsaken Knight quest if you wish to receive better armor, helm, etc.

The rest of the classes will have to wait for the update before they can continue on to the legendary weapon quest. (I got 3 HW's waiting in anticipation)
wazzap_mr Posted December 30, 2011 Author Report Posted December 30, 2011 OK so I'm done with the elite sniper quest the thing is i didn't receive any additional 200 stat points o.o all i received was a letter certifying me that i became an elite sniper ... then i followed the last part in the elite sniper guide but it only led me to the guide for the Forsaken Elite Equipment Quest ... is that how it is suppose to be? seriously I'm having a difficult time reading the wiki... yea it teaches me but at the same time it makes me wonder where to go, how to get and what to do next ... :<
Shield Posted December 30, 2011 Report Posted December 30, 2011 (edited) Starting from the beginning .. You hit maximum job level. Talk to the Forsaken King in fcity and he tells you about the Elite warriors and sends you out in search of Victor. Once you find Victor he sends you on a quest to find your class specific elder. After you find the first elder npc and do the initial quest(3k hydra,etc.), the elder gives you a certificate to take to Victor. Victor then gives you 200 bonus points and grants you the 'Elite' title. (some people confuse bonus points for individual stat points; you don't get 200 str, 200 int,etc.) From there he directs you to the Elite set elders. It's at this point, I believe, that you can forego the elite set quest and skip to the Forsaken Knight quest which is what my last post was about. But I still recommend doing the Elite set quest, if not only for the weapon. To start the Knighthood quest, which leads you to the F. Knight equipment and then legendary weapon, find and talk to the King after becoming elite. Edited December 30, 2011 by Shield
