Veralynn Posted October 16, 2011 Report Posted October 16, 2011 @Genesis: Can you please check to make sure the WoE 2.0 map has the same damage nerfs as the normal WoE maps? I seem to take MUCH more dmg in WoE 2.0 than normal WoE. Especially magic and ranged damage. Edit: I'm sitting in normal WoE right now and similar skills are doing much less damage to me. Yeah, I was getting EASY kills in WoE 2.0, I dropped entire groups of people in seconds flat :\
Xtopher Posted October 16, 2011 Report Posted October 16, 2011 In normal WoE ppl tank professors bolts while tanking asuras from champs. The same ppl get dropped in like 2-3 bolts in WoE 2.0. Seems off to me.
strawboy Posted October 16, 2011 Report Posted October 16, 2011 That's because you are in Dignified...
Veralynn Posted October 17, 2011 Report Posted October 17, 2011 That's because you are in Dignified...Being in dignified doesn't boost my damage as far as I know. e.e 1
Xtopher Posted October 22, 2011 Report Posted October 22, 2011 Much better WoE today. The only one last thing I think needs to be changed is increasing the size of the guardian stones which I think has already been suggested.
strawboy Posted October 22, 2011 Report Posted October 22, 2011 (edited) The woe today was by far the best woe 2.0 ever held... But I believe some more changes should be done. Edited October 22, 2011 by strawboy 1

I am looking into changing the size. The woe today was by far the best woe 2.0 ever held... But I believe some more changes should be done. Thanks again for the positive feedback! Which changes do you suggest? What problems did you see?
Drax Posted October 22, 2011 Report Posted October 22, 2011 (edited) I thought there was really nothing wrong with WoE expect maybe... the guardians? Edited October 22, 2011 by Drax
.Kyuubi. Posted October 22, 2011 Report Posted October 22, 2011 how about removing the water effect inside the castle, i hear its part of the problem that causes people to lag (skills + water effect = wtf) 1
Leo `D Posted October 31, 2011 Report Posted October 31, 2011 I Suggest that we should reduce the guardian stone cool down to repair about 5-7 mins., the reason is ones all the Barricade destroy we can only rely on Guardian Stone defense and seems the Guardian Stone's HP is reduce to 150m and its easily to break. Just an opinion feedback if you have other comment thx.
supream Posted October 31, 2011 Report Posted October 31, 2011 your confusing me. you cant attack the barricades unless the guardian stones are destroyed. so you need to switch some words around in your post. i think you were trying to say that once the guardian stones are destroyed all we have left are the barricades.
Leo `D Posted November 2, 2011 Report Posted November 2, 2011 I meant it right once all the barricade are destroyed it cant be repair unless the Emperium is broken or the Castle is taken, and the remaining defense left is the Guardian Stone that the rule of Woe 2.... i have played it many times..this is based on my experience 1
Xtopher Posted November 2, 2011 Report Posted November 2, 2011 Repairing everything while you defend is part of WoE 2.0.
Leo `D Posted November 3, 2011 Report Posted November 3, 2011 but you cant repair the Barricade ones it Destroy unless the Castle is Capture it means the Barricade can be repair Once or it can be repair? once its destroy?
Perishable Posted November 4, 2011 Report Posted November 4, 2011 Once it's destroyed. There is a cool down before you can repair them though.
Dudu Posted November 5, 2011 Report Posted November 5, 2011 Omggg the lag! We need to do something about this lag madness, i have a Quad Core proccesor laptop, 8gb of ram, and a Nvidia beast video card, and when Dignified ecall'd, my RO just froze. We need to find ways to reduce this lag. I had Effects off and i disabled Windows Aero from my W7 ( Improves performance of the game )
supream Posted November 5, 2011 Report Posted November 5, 2011 (edited) the lag is mainly caused by the gunslingers. only complaint i have is that the guardian stones are to small. Edited November 5, 2011 by supream
Kittie Posted November 5, 2011 Report Posted November 5, 2011 You know I didn't have any lag on my side. Granted I have a great connection, but I play on an iMac with a windows emulated system with RO running. 1

Granted I have a great connection, but I play on an iMac with a windows emulated system with RO running. It doesn't matter how good your connection or computer is really. At the wrong place with 3 or so gunslingers spamming desperado you will lag, especially at the places with water.

.Kyuubi. Posted November 6, 2011 Report Posted November 6, 2011 some of us arent that fortunate. When the lag hits i get up and make my self a bowl of cereal, come back and watch as everything happens very very slowly
Xtopher Posted December 17, 2011 Report Posted December 17, 2011 (edited) I'm reviving this thread so that I won't have to make a new topic about the suggestion I'm about to mention. It has come to my attention that when repairing the guardian stones you must follow a selection of NPC generated choices while matching the choices to the colors that are appearing on the stone. I don't know how many of you out there are color blind or know much about it, but this is pretty difficult from my prospective. I'm color blind and repairing the stones is virtually impossible for me. My suggestion: Simplify the repairing process to just weeding through a few lines of dialogue and being given the choice of repairing without color coordination being necessary. There are a lot of things ingame that I can't enjoy because of color blindness, but I've never had a problem with participating with ingame quests/events because of it and I frankly think its unfair to put something like this in.
