Kittie Posted July 11, 2011 Report Posted July 11, 2011 (edited) I would agree since these classes are probably the last classes of the "dex-based" group that needs to put their stats into Dexterity, then Agi, then Vit, and then the remaining into strength. They'll never have the carrying capacity of strength based classes, and their other dex classes (sniper and stalker) and magic classes already received the boost. It makes no sense why Gunslinger shouldn't have it, especially since their HP is still relatively low, meaning they need to put most of their stats into vitality. As for the clown and gypsy weapons, I feel like the boost isn't enough, (as they'll do roughly only 3.5k per hit on frigg users), so perhaps adding the increase limit boost instead of more damage will help with survivability. [EDIT]: If the new clown and gypsy weapons get increase weight limit, add them to the soaring bow for both classes too, since switching to the bow would make a person over 90% weight. Amicable Posted July 11, 2011 Author Report Posted July 11, 2011 Well compared to snipers and stalkers, which have the enlarge weight limit in their weapons, Gunslingers,Clowns, and Gypsies don't have the same...and, also, have to pour their status points to dexterity instead of strength, which makes them barely hold enough yggdrasil seeds, yggdrasil berries, Turkey Legs, etc. 1

I agree with putting it on the gun (i have the gun and have been playing gs). I disagree with putting it on the clown/gyp weapon. One word separates the two: Tarot. If clown/gypsy get weight limit it should be like lvl 1-3 at maximum. Gunslingers definitely need it though. I mean they eat their sp quickly and with 100 base strength i can only carry 100 berrys with my other equips.

It's pretty easy to say their stronger than snipers at the moment. Their damage does 25k each hit onto shield and each desp hits about 25k each and it can be spammed majorly fast and the hits range from 1 - 10 hits to a person. Plus lets not forget how many sprite editors and crap we have on the server. If anything since more than likely this suggestion will go through because people only agree on suggestions that benefit themselves instead of thinking how it can effect them and everyone else just make it like level 3 - 5 improve weight limit. >> It's still something and not something beyond what the fuck levels. And because I'm a fair person im going to point this out on mikes screen shot. 1. He has no gear at all, he is poor as hell so for people who like to carry more than a set that won't be like that for you. So I'd say 3 - 5 weight limit for clowns / gypsies also. Sorry, but Clowns and Gypsies are far too overpowered, they got their "Arrow Vulcan" Valkyrie weapon they all oh so wanted since the release of their bow, be happy with it. If they can kill you when you're on Usa(by using TCoF which causes coma at an alarming chance) and can kill you when you GTB(Arrow Vulcan is a very strong skill that can kill most classes in a single spam string when they're not on reductions). Then i'd say low survivability is what they deserve for such killing potential. On the other hand, Gunslingers can be conveniently dealt with by using only Usa. No other class in the game can kill so well both Usa users and GTB users, they do not deserve higher survival ability.

Since the new guitar/whip does less damage than the elite weapons. Any pvper with proper redux (friggs with usak, and fluffies/sgw) takes abt 11k damage per hit from despo. Idk where you saw 25k... on random newbies maybe... or with thana. Im switching off 3tg/skel and 3tg/thana guns with 298 base dex and scarf and my damage isn't 25k per deso on properly geared ppl. Gunslinger is not "stronger" than a sniper. Sniper would destroy a gunslinger. Arrow repels and fas would rip them appart. Sniper has wind walker so they can run away. Sure, gunslinger can desperado but he has to be beside you. Sniper can wipe out cowds of people from afar with fas.
nines Posted July 11, 2011 Report Posted July 11, 2011 Well chris you just saw sniper get his ass owned by me on gunslinger pretty fast while i was also tanking a full asura thana champ. The damage is a little lower than 25k but its still crazy spamable and im killing people with guild hideout buffs and being ganged by people with guild hideout buffs and thana asura champs and all that shit and i still got yggs to spare. I'm still going to say 3 - 5 improve weight limit for them. They do burn their yggs fast because of low mana threshold but they are pretty tanky now and still pump out fat damage.

Interestingly enough, stalkers get the weight limit bonus, but also get a huge redux bonus for no reason so they don't even need to carry that many yggs anyways. I highly doubt the clown/gypsy branch can be OP anymore especially with all the new additions. Every class has stepped up, putting gypsy, clown, assassin cross, and champion now on the backburner. I play Stalker too and I even think their bow is the best valk weapon, even considering it OP.

I think they should get Lvl. 5 Enlarge Weight Limit on the Lute/Whip, the Soaring Bow and on the Elite Guitar/Whip. Also, the rest of the classes who have Lvl. 10 should only have Lvl. 5 as well.

Lvl 1: 200 weight so 6 more berries or 13 more seeds Lvl 2: 400 weight so 13 more berries or 26 more seeds Lvl 3: 600 weight so 20 more berries or 40 more seeds Lvl 4: 800 weight so 26 more berries or 53 more seeds Lvl 5: 1000 weight so 33 more berries or 66 more seeds Lvl 6: 1200 weight so 40 more berries or 80 more seeds Lvl 7: 1400 weight so 46 more berries or 93 more seeds Lvl 8: 1600 weight so 53 more berries or 106 more seeds Lvl 9: 1800 weight so 60 more berries or 120 more seeds Lvl 10: 2000 weight so 66 more berries or 133 more seeds I think it helps to actually quantify the amount of benefit gained from the skill when looking at it. These numbers should be correct if the skill works properly. So, at lvl 5 we're looking at giving someone the capacity to carry 33 more berries or 66 more seeds. This will make a big difference to some, and no difference to others. Again, this is the capacity to carry... if you flood your inventory with unnecessary crap you lose space for healing items of course. Edited July 17, 2011 by Xtopher
