I just recently made a SG, and I added all the skills, since the effect says that it requires a job level of 50, I thought that it either didnt work, or that it only worked on the maps of the sun, moon, and stars. I then heard that you had to be level 255, job level. Then when I hit it, it permanently blinded me, no matter where I was. I was curious if you could change the effect so it doesnt make it a permanent blind on the screen, but keep the sight reduction to keep the skill true to its nature. I also tried to use the /effect command and it didnt work, which I thought that it would. I love SG, which it has quickly become one of my favorite classes. I hope to receive any feedback from the community and from the Staff on this. Thank you all.

it gives you a good amount of aspd, and /effect wont work on it

personally since the blind is more of just a hindrance than a status effect it shouldnt be there, as SGs are severely limited at what they can do already

why not a compromise though if you want to keep the nature of the skill. tunnel vision rage

gives u like 30% more aspd at the cost of losing sight. so i guess thats ok. i played it on official server so i guess this would give u room for more builds.

Well, blind is considered a status effect. And I hope that you actually read the whole post Nadtorious :x. I specifically said I tried /effect >: And, I was hoping they could completely remove the visual effect, but that may be asking a little too much. I would at least like the coverage reduced...Tunneling would be perfectly fine, or making the circle bigger, because if anyone has been blinded, it pretty much makes it so you cant see anything beyond a 2 person radius...I guess the thing Im mostly concerned with being able to see where Im going. If anything, the biggest problem would be fighting long range classes, like sniper, GS, magic classes, even LKs using spear boomerang or whatever the skill is named. Also, Kicks are the main part of pvp that SGs use. And the kick most used is flying side kick. So I hope something could be changed about this.

Well first things first, the skill is not bugged in any way and is supposed to work this way. Second, /effect should not remove the effect , this would make the disadvantage of this skill disappear completely. Basically you choose for this blindness when you take the skill. In return of the bonus aspd. Want less blindness ? take a lower level of the skill. That's the way it is right now.

However I can agree star glads need a boost somehow. But I'm not sure whether this is the 'boost' they really need.

Add : It's taekwons that mostly use the kicks cause they can spam them (when ranked) Most star glads prefer not using them because it interferes with the constant damage burst. (stances take too long and star glads cant spam the kicks like taekwons).

Ryuk basically said everything there is to say about this. We're going to try to do more for SG/SL/TK and other classes, but this isn't a necessary change.
