Revert Back To Old Arrows

I think that, with all the benefits ranged classes have, that arrows should be returned to their former status. What I mean is that you should have to carry thousands of instead of just shooting one. As for the new arrows that were released with the update, we could make a quest(after you complete the initial quest to obtain the arrow) to make more of that specific kind of arrow. Example: 500 of X and 500 of Y to make 5000 of Z arrows. What do you guys think?

I will agree on this but my opinion would be kinda biased since I rarely use ranged classes except stalker. Let's wait from the others

I will agree if LKs waste 1 spear(any) on each spear boomerang and spiral pierce. And remove Mistress card effect from FSet. Lets make life more complicated for ppl!

Boomerangs come back according to Australia. Also, please explain why you don't like the idea instead of just throwing it out there.

Im not to sure about this idea yet.What about when you have to switch arrows if someone changes there armor, you can't simply carry one thousand of each arrow you would have no room for berries, and in Last Man Standing you can't storage it would be putting ranged classes at some what a disadvantage where they would have to find the right amount and of what arrows they should carry at one time making them have to think more of what they carry .I don't feel im biased here since the only ranged class i really play is stalker and that's rarely when i feel like it or im bored.

Also i haven't really picked wether i disagree or agree im just stating my thoughts about it.

Well, i totally decline about this. it is because clown/gypsy easily overweight. Eventhough we have a str(abit)but it's still not enough to bring alot of berries . But if you guys put this would be great.give clown/gypsy lvl 10 enlargement skill?

He's got a point there. Not only snipers will be affected by this change. Gypsies/Clowns already can't carry much (around 150 berries at most and like 280 seeds). Also looking at the facts Seraphine brought in. LMS, GvG and those events will screw every ranged class over. They might get into a long duel and can't bring 500-1000 of a variety of arrows because they also need to carry berries/seeds along. The lvl 10 weight skill might help a little bit but I doubt it'd be enough (not sure!). Maybe there's a reason they can use 1 arrow endlessly, since this server's pvp is pretty much reliant on berries.

The arrows only weigh 0.1 or 0.2, and they go in the ETC tab so they won't take up berry slots. I'm sure people don't use EVERY element there is, mostly Ghost, an x element for people without GR, and maybe holy and shadow. Arrows also aren't the only offensive skill that clowns/gypsises have. Maybe I might be seeing things, but I always see a clown/gypsy spamming tarot when their AV spam doesn't kill their target. Also, most of the skills used only consume 1 arrow per skill use. Seeing as how the arrows only weigh 0.1 or 0.2, 4000 oridecon arrows would weigh 800, the weight of a STR belt. Seeing as how gypsies and stalkers have(or can have) offensive skills that don't require arrows, the only one left is sniper; however I recall Snipers' Soaring Bird has a weight limit increase so they should be able to carry multiple arrows.

...............Wow Jay.........just wow.

You do realize aspd is 195. and people spam skills fast while the other people are ygging out of those skills and auto attack. People in freaking iRO run out of arrows just being in pvp with low aspd and not as fast spamming. Even with out weight limit carrying all the arrows just for me to probably pvp for an hour Id loose atleast 60 yggs.

I honestly dont have an opinion on the idea, (Dont know whether to agree or disagree). But if it was to be implemented maybe normal arrows could require more than 1 arrow, but elite arrows to only require one? just an idea.

If you're going to give infinite arrows to sniper why not creators too then. Creator spend tons of money on acid bottle just too attack and there attack is nothing close to snipers. If creators don't have infinite acid bottles why should Sniper have it? I agree with Terroryst.

I use normal melee attack alot, when im trying to divest somebody with the bow, and i dont agree with this at all who would wanna keep doing the same quest over and over just to PvP.. what other class has to do that?

What other class has range, reducts on weapon, auto casting Strip while ranged, weight limit increase, a strong 1-hit spammable AoE, and traps lol. If they're not gonna return it to old arrow style, then at least put some weight on the arrows.

They have so many things because for years snipers were so underpowered nobody even played them, no watter what u wore since u had no shield u would get dropped in 2 seconds and since the redux have been taken out snipers die much easier. and FAS is not a 1 shot, unless ur on like devs and gtb and then ur gonna get killed by anything thats an element

I never said 1 shot, I said 1-hit spammable AoE. Anyways since I see no compelling argument for me on my side, I'm going to go ahead and consider this rejected. GM please close and move.

It\s not because a class was underpowered for years that it's now allowed to be overpowered, doesn't make any sense, but this arrow thing wouldn't affect snipers only but stalkers and clowns too.

I'd have to agree with this. But the way I see it the goal shouldn't be to get people to play sniper less ( I think they are fine as they are with the arrows this way), instead I would give creators the same advantage as snipers have and give them unlimited bottles.

So to this suggestion :

I think the arrows are fine as they are. Having to do the quest over and over again would discourage people to play sniper, specially now they're finally getting more popular and very very decent. Decent yet not OP. On a sidenote I think giving creators the same advantage would be nothing but fair.

Original suggestion: As people have already said, making these changes would really discourage players from playing the sniper class and have negative repercussions on gypsy/bard and stalkers.

About the creator suggestion: We could look into lowering the weight for AD bottles, but Genesis claims it isn't possible to make it so it would be unlimited.
