Angels&Demons Posted September 12, 2010 Report Posted September 12, 2010 After the server downtime, I haven't been able to connect to the server. It's always failed to connect. I know that there were previous complaints about this, but this time, right after I enter my UN and pass, it doesn't go any further than that. The problem before goes up until character selecting. My connection is fine and all, just can't log on fro. And the file from megaupload keeps failing. It just says my download attempt didn't get through. A little help would be nice. Thanks.
Passion Posted September 12, 2010 Report Posted September 12, 2010 When the download from MegaUpload keeps on failing. Does it download a little then it fails? Or does it fail the moment you click it? This could be due to the internet in your area.

Passion Posted September 12, 2010 Report Posted September 12, 2010 Well right now the server is having some downtime issues again. Just need to hang in tight. As for you having an error when it was back up earlier, maybe the firewall could be blocking the connection to fRO? Why not trying turning off your firewall, running the game, then putting your firewall back up after you've connected. But not right now. It seems that the server is down again. Please be patient while we work on the problem.

Start menu > Run > type in cmd then enter this tracert.forsakenserver.net and tell me what you get.
DeathZyte Posted September 12, 2010 Report Posted September 12, 2010 I tried the link and it says that file is temporarily unavailable but I have downloaded the latest patch through FRo patcher. For the traceroute, I will try it as soon as the server is up?

As for the megaupload thing, it says it's temporarily unavailable. I haven't had this problem until the server downtime today.

I logged on.. Got DC'ed, and now failed to connect again. Lol! BTW. Due to the downtime of the server, we weren't able to get the treasures of the castle. Can we still get it?

DeathZyte Posted September 13, 2010 Report Posted September 13, 2010 I think what Passion meant is tracert forsakenserver.net. This 'tracert' or trace route will check how many hops to reach the FRo server.

Angels&Demons Posted October 13, 2010 Author Report Posted October 13, 2010 I already uninstalled, reinstalled, downloaded and copy pasted the thing posted in the support to solve this failed to connect issue, and yet I still fail to connect. I have to try connecting for 50~100 times before I can actually connect. This is really starting to get pretty annoying.
