Nadtorious Posted May 13, 2010 Report Posted May 13, 2010 (edited) Issue Most Euro players go to school at 8am until 3pm or 4pm. In-game I notice that there are quite a few players who are from England. I am not talking 10 players but more than that. So by the time we get home from school/college we have already missed the Euro Woe or sometimes we got 5 minutes left before the Euro Woe ends. Here in England Euro Woe starts at 3pm-4pm. It's Euro Woe so it must be based on Euro time. Although, still we missed Euro Woe because it starts too early. Situation We miss Euro Woe by 1 hour. (Devastated) Suggestion I don't suggest it, but in my opinion Friday Euro Woe should be advanced 2 hours later the normal time. Ps: I know this is going to be a big issue but I will accept wether there will be changes or not. Thank You. Edited May 13, 2010 by Minotoruz
Veggie&Mac Posted May 13, 2010 Report Posted May 13, 2010 i Agree, but the actual time is fine for me.
Adamxd Posted May 14, 2010 Report Posted May 14, 2010 Well I live in +1h to london time, and I must say I was hurrying up. Now when I finished school I don't care, so I agree if you want.
Hannah Posted May 14, 2010 Report Posted May 14, 2010 (edited) I agree with this too, I have to WoE only on Mondays now since I come home from school at 4.30pm. Edited May 14, 2010 by Hannah
Cirrus Posted May 15, 2010 Report Posted May 15, 2010 The problem with this is not only Europeans go to Euro WoE. As a past GM has said before, it wasn't even meant to be called just Euro WoE, it was Eurasian or something like that. Remember not all Asians can attend American WoE too. At 8 am (at GMT+08), most of the students (and sure, people who work) would have went to their classes/workplace already. While American WoE would be early in the wee hours of the morning for Europeans, they still have a choice to attend (stay up or just wake up for 1hr) while those who go to school in the mornings do not, (skip school?) With the addition of the new Euro WoE time, things just got more balanced for all the players, giving more options. A lot of players in the GMT+08 timezone complained, as it was 2 am. I'm in the same timezone and I'm just all for it. Now it's fair for our general population. I say leave it as it is. Friday WoE is 10pm here. Most, if was most life-threateningly necessary, is 1 hour adjustment. But still, leave it.

This is suppose to be for Euro & Asia people so they gotta balanced the time for both. I think 10 fits
Poringly Posted May 15, 2010 Report Posted May 15, 2010 I say leave it as it is. Friday WoE is 10pm here. Most, if was most life-threateningly necessary, is 1 hour adjustment. But still, leave it. What he say , Some ppl may even miss Euro WoE because of it :(
bankai` Posted May 15, 2010 Report Posted May 15, 2010 I 100% agree with this. i dont agree with this
Ryuk Posted May 16, 2010 Report Posted May 16, 2010 What he say , Some ppl may even miss Euro WoE because of it :( 90% of all europeans are missing it now though .. So either way there will always be people that can't make it. Friday WoE is 10pm here It's 4-5pm for europeans and nobody would be home at that time. Adding at least 1 hour would make it 11-12 pm for you guys and 5-6 for europeans. At least most people would be back from school at that time. More votes are always appreciated (doesn't matter if you agree or disagree) so keep them coming :3.
Elimination Posted May 16, 2010 Report Posted May 16, 2010 Disagree I'm from aus and I have to go 12am..hehe but I know it doesn't just depend on me
Nadtorious Posted May 16, 2010 Author Report Posted May 16, 2010 American WOE here in England is at 1:00am - 2:00am. I/We have to wake up at that time or just stay awake just to attend WOE. On other parts of the country Euro Woe is at 10pm ? :weird: ...and you're worried to adjust it 1 or 2 hours forward ? Since my dad saw me stay up until 1am in the morning he told me not to use the Efing laptop no more. Now I am using my cranky desktop. If the Monday Euro Woe wasn't even there I/we can't even attend one single Woe. Most Asia player are from Philippines and they can easily attend American Woe as the time of American Woe there is 7-8 ? or 8-9?.
Cirrus Posted May 16, 2010 Report Posted May 16, 2010 (edited) It wasn't meant to be just for Europeans, read. The server already opened 2 more WoE hours, what more can a US East Coast based server do. Before it was also brought up that you chose the server's timezone, you gotta adjust to it. But that wasn't final, they give chances for everyone. It shouldn't really be their problem if someone controls you to go to sleep at 1am. Or if you need to go to school at the start of WoE. Or whatever. Sure... adjust it one hour more. But shift back Monday's Euro WoE by 1 hour. "After all, it's 2 am for me and I have to sleep and blah blah blah blah blah blah I want it earlier pls pls pls pls." Edited May 16, 2010 by Cirrus
Hannah Posted May 16, 2010 Report Posted May 16, 2010 I think that the Euro WoE time should be adjusted at least 1 hour forward. This will be fair because then, Euro WoE in USA will be the same time as American WoE here in UK. I'm fine with me only being able to WoE on Mondays but it would be better if I could WoE on Fridays.
Wish Posted May 17, 2010 Report Posted May 17, 2010 Cirrus pretty much said it all. We made the second European WoE to better accommodate Europeans, taking a poll and everything. It IS supposed to be a Eurasian WoE. 10 PM is already pushing it for those who have school. 11-12 or later would be ridiculous. Anyone can participate in any WoE, but the specific WoEs have to be open to those it's designed for. I'm sory, but we aren't changing the time. - Rejected -
