Cirrus Posted April 24, 2010 Report Posted April 24, 2010 The Forsaken Dungeon Pass works that when you use it, it gets used up, it warps you to a random instance of the dungeon, and you get a "new" Forsaken Dungeon Pass in return (for it to be "reusable.") Obviously if you are overweight, you aren't able to obtain anymore items that even have 1 weight, hence... it getting used up and it has nowhere to go in your inventory.
Deceptive Posted April 24, 2010 Report Posted April 24, 2010 I'll remember this if I decide to get a Forsaken Dungeon Pass xD .
Danny Posted April 24, 2010 Report Posted April 24, 2010 I did not know about this Lmao that just means there were times that I almost lost my own FDun. That was dangerous.
Ryuk Posted April 30, 2010 Report Posted April 30, 2010 1 : Items don't drop during rebirthing. Even when you get far passed the 90% limit. They'll remain in your inventory for you to store them. 2 : You cannot pick up items or recieve items through share when you're 90% overweight. You do however get your Fdun pass back since it's generated into your inventory and it returns 1 ms after you used it. It's technically impossible to get from less than 90% overweight to 99.9% overweight in about 1ms. If you would be 90% overweight and would have used the pass before getting 90% you would still get your pass returned since you still have the 10% extra weight capacity, which can still store items.
Return. Posted April 30, 2010 Report Posted April 30, 2010 (edited) Yeah,.. and is that even possible to loot anything when you already gone beyond your weight limit lol. Edited April 30, 2010 by Return.
Veggie&Mac Posted April 30, 2010 Report Posted April 30, 2010 Please Block the option to rebirth if you are overweight same as decard, coz somethimes this happens and you need a support for that (GM team).
Ryuk Posted April 30, 2010 Report Posted April 30, 2010 and is that even possible to loot anything when you already gone beyond your weight limit lol. Normal looting is disabled at 90% @Veggie Like stated before when you rebirth you do NOT drop any items, there's no way you can lose items through reborning. So I don't see any reason to change it.
Danny Posted April 30, 2010 Report Posted April 30, 2010 So maybe he got careless and misplace it? lol who knows.

Ryuk it happened to my Sister She was lvling and put some berrys to survive in fdun, when she go to rebirht with 50% overweight she lose my Fdun not sure why, but got 90% OW and the Fdun pass just dissapear. :D
Ryuk Posted May 2, 2010 Report Posted May 2, 2010 She must've gotten rid of it herself. since there's no way reborning can cause loss of items. end of story. Also items don't just disappear from inventories.
Josef Posted May 2, 2010 Report Posted May 2, 2010 possible i tink kekekeke but it would be the user's fault tho before rebirth u has str to carry item! then u rebirth and ur str become 1, and your weight suddenly become over 100%! then u use your pass! and how cirrus stated how fpass work, if you r more than 100%! then the new fpass won't have room ajajaj IDK random thought. pce
Cirrus Posted May 2, 2010 Report Posted May 2, 2010 (edited) Exactly. You rebirth, get your stats back to 1. If you had items in your inventory, and they made your weight way past 100% (which is possible, 3xxx/2xxx through Rebirth, not resetting) where would the item go? Nowhere. It's the same how people decard with full inventory (since a weight limit was put to prevent it from happening due to being overweight, but not while having full inventory) and the items drop to the floor. And it's the same when having a full inventory and trying to redeem Vote Coupons. They just disappear, they don't even drop. EDIT: TY SEF. Edited May 2, 2010 by Cirrus
Ryuk Posted May 2, 2010 Report Posted May 2, 2010 You rebirth, get your stats back to 1. If you had items in your inventory, and they made your weight way past 100% (which is possible, 3xxx/2xxx through Rebirth, not resetting) where would the item go? Nowhere. When you rebirth and do get over 100% there will still be no items gone. You'll have to store items to get back to normal weight before going and trying to get even more items with over 100% overweight. In other words it's not the rebirthing proces that makes you lose items, it's a mistake people make by trying to get even more items during this overweight or trying to regain items in this case. Having an full inventory is a different case, that's about how many items you can carry and has nothing to do with the weight of the items. The amount of items can exceed with things as decarding. But not during rebirthing, because the amount of items an inventory can have will always be the same no matter what level you are. If possible I'll be testing these possibilities shortly.
Cirrus Posted May 2, 2010 Report Posted May 2, 2010 Yeah, you can't get any items, but the Dungeon Pass works in a way that you can't really control. When you use it, it disappears and another instance of it comes up in your inventory. In other words it is used up and a new one is given to you via its script. Every time you use it you get a new Pass. Who said it was going Rebirth that made you lose items? It's because of the weight. The only way you'll lose it is when you use it while you're over 100% weight.
Ryuk Posted May 2, 2010 Report Posted May 2, 2010 The suggestion was brought up to change the job changer. Since in their opinion it's the npc's fault that they lost an item. I was just here to proof them it's not the jobchanger that causes this. However The only way you'll lose it is when you use it while you're over 100% weight. Is true. So personally, I still see no reason in changing the job changer, nothing is wrong with it. You just have to pay attention to what you're doing.
Josef Posted May 2, 2010 Report Posted May 2, 2010 but i think he wasn't suggesting anything in this thread, he's seeking for help or maybe a reason how his pass went bye bye, and we just saying what the possible reason was :3
