Boys Over Flowers!

Recommended Posts

If I am not mistaken, it is a korean live drama based off on the manga Hana Yori Dango. It would probably be the counter part of "Meteor Garden" the taiwanese live drama that is based on the said manga too.

Let me see, I watched Meteor Garden already. I even watched the Japanese version, Hana Yori Dango and finished it when I was in Japan. And now I am still watching Boys Over Flower( Although I had to stop watching in the middle cause I gotten really busy with work ). From my point of view, the Korean version is way better than those other two.

This info is for Dearly Beloved and for someone who wants to know about the Drama.

Genre : Comedy Romance

Episodes : 25

The Synopsis :

Jan Di is an average girl whose family owns a dry cleaning store located near the luxurious and well known Shin Hwa College. Jan Di meets the four richest and most spoiled boys known as the F4. After saving a boy from jumping off the roof of Shinhwa High School, she is admitted into the school on a swimming scholarship. Jan Di tries to avoid confrontation with the F4 at all cost because she knows what happens to those that stand against them. However, when Jan Di's friend, Oh Min Ji, accidentally gets ice cream on the leader of the F4's shoes, she's forced to declare war on the leader of the F4, Goo Joon Pyo

@Dearly Beloved " You're welcome Dearly Beloved "

@Shono " Its not that old xD;; Boys Over Flower broadcast last year "

Originally, Boys Over Flower is an adaptation from the Japanese Manga " Hana Yori Dango " like what Raymond said before in his post.

And yes, Before the Korean version " Boys Over Flower or Boys Before Flower "

The first one would have to be " Meteor Garden(2001) & Meteor Garden II(2002) " This is the Taiwanese version which was a big hit in Asia especially in the Philippines.

Then came Hana Yori Dango, the Japanese adaptation which was broadcast in 2005 then followed by Hana Yori Dango Returns in 2007

The most recently one is the Korean Adaptation " Boys Over Flower " which broadcast in 2009

Once I looked it up and got the chance to watch it...

I was immediately addicted.

I LOVE love it. Haha. Even though I had the chance to watch the other versions of it, I think it really interesting.

Hm. Maybe because it was the second drama that I watched. Oh, and that I seriously FELL IN LOVE with So Yi Jung and Chu Ga Eul!!! :D Also known as, "Soeulmate." Their so adorable and perfect for each other (in some sense). I think I may seem addicted to the drama because of this couple. Haha. How sad... Oh, well.
