Adum* Posted January 14, 2010 Report Posted January 14, 2010 (edited) **Paranormal Activity Anyone seen it? Honestly, that movie freaked me out -no we're debating whether it's real or not. x.x Nonetheless, I say it's a good movie. Any thoughts? Edited January 14, 2010 by cyaNiDe*
CombatMuffins Posted January 14, 2010 Report Posted January 14, 2010 I saw it in theatres, it was suspenseful. It had me sorta scared, and my girlfriend extremely scared. She couldn't even sleep alone, after the movie I felt fine though. Real or fake? Eh, I don't believe it.
Genesis Posted January 14, 2010 Report Posted January 14, 2010 I liked it a lot, I think it's paranormal activity though, not activities.
Rayray Posted January 14, 2010 Report Posted January 14, 2010 It is alright with me. At least it is some kind of horror movie that is a little more realistic than most horror movies.
Adum* Posted January 14, 2010 Author Report Posted January 14, 2010 @Combat, I was just starring at the door whenever they go to sleep. The footprints freaked me out and when she was dragged from her bed. @ Gen, yea you're right. Sorry about that. @Zero, yea I think it's way different than other scary movies. @kuoch, lol.
Nyanko Posted January 14, 2010 Report Posted January 14, 2010 (edited) No, the movie wasn't real, but something like this can happen actually. Spirits are fascinating. :3 I lived in a house with 2, one was a baby and one was its mother. [They died actually around 1873 so I read by the entire town catching fire] I was only 8 and when I saw shit moving like my door, my toys, my tv turning off and on and not being able to get out of the room, it scared the crap out of me. After I moved out, the house caught fire. Creepy. If people don't believe in spirits I suggest you get a list of "haunted" places of your area and go there when it says to, mostly at night, you'll see at least one thing moving without anyone being there. :3 My friend lived in Maryland and I told him about this street, if you drive past it around 11 or so, your car will automatically stop and your tires will get slashed. [A girl got her tires slashed right before she got murdered] Just a fyi: no you can't see most of them, some you can though. another fyi: yes you can hear them faintly. even more of a fyi: when a spirit is near you, you do get cold. Oh, and lastly THEY'RE NOT CALLED GHOSTS. Edited January 14, 2010 by Nyanko
Nyanko Posted January 14, 2010 Report Posted January 14, 2010 It's not really that scary if you're older, lol.
Genesis Posted January 14, 2010 Report Posted January 14, 2010 On the subject, I really loved the movie and if you saw in it theaters you could not help but jump at certain scenes. It kept you watching, unlike other recent movies ( 2012/Daybreakers ) that just dragged on forever.
Nyanko Posted January 14, 2010 Report Posted January 14, 2010 I didn't mind daybreakers. Watching movies in the theaters is a waste in money when you can watch them online.
CombatMuffins Posted January 14, 2010 Report Posted January 14, 2010 Yeah I agree with jorge. But sometimes its better to watch it at the theatre, a date, or just it can be a bit more scary.
Adum* Posted January 14, 2010 Author Report Posted January 14, 2010 I easily get scared x.x, though I always try to hide it.>.> I was gonna go with my friend to watch it, but something came up so I didn't go. Lol, funny that I was gonna watch it with my cousins last night, but we decided to just rent a movie and stay home -that way we can drink and watch movie xD.
kuoch Posted January 15, 2010 Report Posted January 15, 2010 ^ That's just scary =/ Eh, shit my pants.
UglyDuckling Posted January 15, 2010 Report Posted January 15, 2010 i fended off the ghosts with my +10 sword of glory.
Nyanko Posted January 15, 2010 Report Posted January 15, 2010 Dat sword is gonna stab you for saying "ghost."
UglyDuckling Posted January 15, 2010 Report Posted January 15, 2010 i just watched the movie. disappointing.
Rayray Posted January 15, 2010 Report Posted January 15, 2010 It is better to watch it on theaters though.
Nyanko Posted January 15, 2010 Report Posted January 15, 2010 It's the same god damn thing, get speakers for your laptop/computer, turn off all lights, get DIVX, make it FULLSCREEN, crank up the volume. Morons.
Nyanko Posted January 15, 2010 Report Posted January 15, 2010 Get a adapter so you can make your computer/laptop screen show up on your tv. [:
Adum* Posted January 16, 2010 Author Report Posted January 16, 2010 Eh, I still like going to the theater. I feel lonely when I just watch it at home..x.x
