Learn your ways to kill a mvp without warping.The thing there was done in this update wasnt Unbalance even more. People (sinx) use to backslide and @storage on lms and pvp rooms for get more yggs/supplies.Now it cant be done so it balances the game more.Abusing warp is gay for any situation including MvPing.

trickster187 Posted January 5, 2008 Report Posted January 5, 2008 If the only way you can kill a MVP is by warping then sorry to say, but you need to rethink your build. Every single class can take on almost any MVP with the right gears and enough berrys. If you just sit on a MVP killing it and warping before it can hit you I think thats pretty cheap. Learn how to use your class to its full potential maybe? Its really not hard to kill any of the MVPs, its just time consuming... With enough common sense and some ok gears you can make any class in the game a MVPer. If you complain that you dont donate, do the elite quest? They have implemented some pretty nice gears there. Another thing, if your complaining about being hit right away when you warp, think about it. Your MVPing, you should be ready to take hits from the MVP or another player. After all, you were the one who chose a PK server, adapt. This is a game of skill, so learn your shit and stop complaining.
Genesis Posted January 6, 2008 Author Report Posted January 6, 2008 Wizardry, are you aware that on iRO max stats are 99 and some MvPs there have 110 + str and other stats as well? ( not to mention the massive HP difference) It would be like if we made MvPs have 400 all stats, even with this huge difference iRo players take down MvP with a small group of people? I do not see why this is a problem, a change yes but a problem no.

You can kill randgris. MVPs in bio labs werent meant to be easy at all. Get some friends and hunt them. I didnt say you could kill every single MVP by yourself. I said that you could kill most of them with a little common sense. And just for your information I have solo killed a MVP in lhz with a champ. Its not as hard as you make it out to be. Champs are NOT horrible to play if you cant spam warp. I have never once killed like that and I have killed almost every single MVP by myself with it. No I dont have thana and all kinds of crazy gear, I just know what I'm doing. MVPs arent suppose to die in under a minute. I like what Genesis said about iRO. I personally played there for over 3 years so I know what its like to not be able to kill any MVPs alone. The point of a MVP is to give players a challenge. Just because your ONE way to kill anything is now thrown out the window doesnt make it impossible. Stop complaining and do somthing about it. Change your strategy some. I know that Garm card is hard to get but its worth it in the end. elite quest was suppose to be hard. If you really believe that you will never get a garm card, then just hunt other mvp cards, sell enough, and buy two like most people do......

Try switching to an agi build and killing mvps? or try getting bucklers with the right dmg reducing card for the mvps that you want to kill so that you can take hits. Its not impossible to solo mvps. Its just time consuming. If you really cant kill any mvps then try making another class

Well, if you had not noticed MvPing was never suppose to be easy nor were you suppose to be able to kill any of them on your own, are you suggestions we enable the @warp abuse again? And ruin PvP/MvPing outside of the PvP Rooms for everyone? I think not.

Your gears do limit your abilitys. Most mvps dont take anything to really kill tho. And to MVP you should be prepared to use yggs or keep dieing and warping back..... This update was very good imo. Denzel hes talkin about killing MVPs in lhz. Im pretty damn sure thats next to impossible to do with no gears and if you dont want to use any yggs. Why are you backing up someone whose just complaining because he cant use his cheap ass tactics to never get hit and kill mvps. That makes everyone elses hard work to get good gears and such pointless. I mean why dont we all just warp kill!!! that makes the game fun!!!!!

Knives Millions Posted January 7, 2008 Report Posted January 7, 2008 I started playing on this server about a week ago. I just got some decent gear...but no GTB. I was in the Louyang dungeon...where the White Lady/Bascojin is and I was asked if I could help take her down by another player. He had a basically kill-proof Pally...but he had a low atk. I'm a Sin-X...pretty good atk, but I still die ---a LOT!! LOL !! We found her..set ourselves up so that he took almost all the damage...I attacked from a distance with Soul Breaker. Every time I died, I just bought some more white potions ( I don't have a stock of Yggs yet), warped back, flywing-ed arond til I found my partner again...and went back to killing. It took us the better part of 10 - 15 minutes to finally bring her down. I've never had SO MUCH fun in my life! Now, the other player had asked me if he could have the card if it dropped...I didn't want it, so we agreed he could have the card, and I could have a berry or the OPB's. Now, we didn't get a card. I expect I'll run into the guy again, and I'll be more than willing to help him again til he finally gets his card. Wiz...go look for your monsters...find someone to help you who'll let you have the card. There are plenty of players who would help you if you asked. Knives
PlzDieFast Posted January 7, 2008 Report Posted January 7, 2008 i m a solo mvper and i think the invinciblity for like 5 seconds should be anable when facing a monster but other players should be able to attack you right away cause due to high hp lvl of mvp i usually use champ and my strategy used to be warp in with all the crit explosion and ord a ready and just target the monster and asura but without any time to target the monster i cnt do this anymore and it makes me unable to kill most of the personally summoned mvps... so is there any way to return the invinsiblity for player vs monster when warping it would be great. and as for player vs player i think this is perfect especially for those constantly warping and gust storming wizards that sometimes do this to annoy others.

Meaning the warp delay would NEVER of helped you against it. It WONT hit you right when you get next to it. GTB is one of the easiest MVPs out there simply because of that. If your really that weak then you can wait till your able to warp and just asura then warp right away?

Real well i asura him and immidiatly warp so the reflect wont kill me /gg and plzdiefast is right. Builds. For heavenly sake, I started from 0 as well. I never ever recall using that @warp technique to get MvPs. That's technically bug abusing since it's a flaw of the game which you are using to your advantage. Getting immunity from @warp was and will never be a part of the gameplay thought for RO, even on high rated servers. That advantage is now gone. Get over it.
