Cirrus Posted January 10, 2010 Report Posted January 10, 2010 Pandaring Card effect: Increase damage with Stave Crasher by 10% Suggestion: Increase the effect to up about 30% or more. Reason: I'm fine with the way GTB is. Now give me enough juice to fight against GTB users. I mean, I use Turtle Generals, and not Pandaring cards on my weapon, because they do, what, 20% more damage. And yes, TG's work for Stave Crasher, since: As a normal physical attack, the inflicted damage is affected by various conditions such as the accuracy of the caster, the defense of the target, monster size, and monster cards in caster's equipped weapon. Hopefully, this will give High Wizards without Thana (or even with, when fighting Skoll users) a fighting chance against people who go GTB. Even with the Tao buff, High Wizards still have relatively low HP compared to Professors (sure, trade off for a skill that goes through GTB, which Professor's don't have, but still) and you still gotta have a ton of gear of be effective. Thoughts? Yes? No? Don't want a High Wizard owning you on GTB? Heh.
Shadi Posted January 10, 2010 Report Posted January 10, 2010 Agreed, the skills is still useless vs gtb unless you have a thanatos card.
Cirrus Posted January 10, 2010 Author Report Posted January 10, 2010 Which is easily countered, as well.
Antagonist Posted January 10, 2010 Report Posted January 10, 2010 Strongly Agreed! Wiz class needs more lovin'
Anarii Posted January 10, 2010 Report Posted January 10, 2010 I agree. So far I haven't seen any HW do decent stave damage. (not counting thana against no skolls)
Adum* Posted January 10, 2010 Report Posted January 10, 2010 Strongly Agreed! Wiz class needs more lovin'
sessions Posted January 10, 2010 Report Posted January 10, 2010 Another huge problem with stave crasher is the spam rate is horrible.
Terroryst Posted January 10, 2010 Report Posted January 10, 2010 Agreed. They're looking pretty useless when that GTB's on.
Nyanko Posted January 10, 2010 Report Posted January 10, 2010 Sure, lets make randoming wizards even more happy! With all sarcasm put aside, sure. They got shit for hp anyway.
Cirrus Posted January 10, 2010 Author Report Posted January 10, 2010 Another huge problem with stave crasher is the spam rate is horrible. Yep. It's pretty shitty at times, but who knows. A step in firepower might be a start in making up for it, I guess.
Ethereal Posted January 11, 2010 Report Posted January 11, 2010 I agree with this as well; like Char said, although having a little higher HP is nice, it doesn't exactly help when GTB is put on. I haven't seen Stave Crasher as a useful skill against someone who's wearing GTB and has skolls on.
Tiago Posted January 11, 2010 Report Posted January 11, 2010 Yeah... Pandaring cards are totally pointless right now, even if you can't afford MvP cards.

Levis Posted January 11, 2010 Report Posted January 11, 2010 But, Bowling Bash does truly a lot of damage. Even without the 30% Card effect you're suggesting.
Ethereal Posted January 11, 2010 Report Posted January 11, 2010 But, Bowling Bash does truly a lot of damage. Even without the 30% Card effect you're suggesting. Pandaring's effect affects Stave Crasher for High Wizards... not Bowling Bash.
Levis Posted January 11, 2010 Report Posted January 11, 2010 Uhm yes, sorry. I just understood something of increasing BB with this. I am totally mistaken, just ignore my post. I agree with this suggestion. No one is Perfect!
Rayray Posted January 11, 2010 Report Posted January 11, 2010 agree. the only time I saw a good stave crasher is against someone with 300 vit without skolls and the wizard got thana.
Cirrus Posted January 13, 2010 Author Report Posted January 13, 2010 Yaa I like how dis is goin'. 40-50% pls. ^__^
Ethereal Posted January 13, 2010 Report Posted January 13, 2010 Isn't 40-50% a little too much? If you're going to use Thanatos Card and the person isn't wearing Skolls... you might just obliterate them. I think someone said something about the Stave Crasher spam being horrible, so why not reduce it a little bit? (I can't really give an exact suggestion for the reduction of after-cast delay, but maybe like 50%? Idk.)
Cirrus Posted January 13, 2010 Author Report Posted January 13, 2010 (edited) Perhaps reduced spam delay + 30% more damage would be good... actually sounds just perfect. But yeah, if it's horrible to spam, a big damage boost is alright. It's kinda like how Thana AV or Thana Sonic Blow obliterates someone caught without Skolls too. Limited (yeah right lol) spam but massive damage. Edited January 13, 2010 by cirrus
Antagonist Posted January 13, 2010 Report Posted January 13, 2010 I hope a gm would actually come into this suggestion and approve it, since the majority is supporting this suggestion. But I think the ideal increase would be +30% more damage and -50% aftercast delay for the skill in general
