TwinShadow
I've watched this one a while ago by myself, and in honesty, I think this movie was the worst of all the films so far. No, I don't read the books. The only one I've read was the first one, and that was some years ago when I did that. I don't necessarily have time to read any book right now, or maybe I would spend 2-3 months reading a single book. -_- (when I read, I don't like reading more than 2-3 hours, hurts my hands) But anyway, I found this one a pretty big disappointment. There was hardly anything I liked about this movie. Nothing, at all. It was a waste of $7 for me. >.> I'll probably still buy the DVD when it does come out, but I wish I hadn't seen it in the theater.

TwinShadow
What? Wasted $7 already but gonna buy the DVD? You make no sense. It was such a bore that I would of been better off just waiting for the DVD rather than seeing it in the theater. It's mainly because of my mom wanting to get them, not so much myself. Devotion
Alan Rickman is fucking brilliant. He makes my day everytime I see him on screen :) I actually like the movie, unlike the cool kids ripping on it. It was pretty true to the book, which is as much as you can ask for because quite honestly when the movie = the book exactly the movie blows. It's a tricky balance that I think has been handled well so far in most of the Harry Potter films. Amen. The cinematography was excellent, and I think no one really pays attention to it in the HP movies because all they're looking at is similarities and differences from the books. But the way they filmed it and organized the camera and angles was beautiful. A good example is after Hermione sends the birds at Ron, the camera pans from her and Harry, to Ron and Lavender kissing on the stairs, to Malfoy on the astronomy tower. The mood shifts there are so valuable to the characters. And when Snape motions for Harry to lower his wand...omg...then the scene where he's running away and he tells Harry he's the Half Blood Prince. Ah, a hero in disguise ^^ I love these books and I could rant forever, but I abstain :<
Rayray
I just wish they don't leave too many things in the 7th part though. (we already didn't see the diadem in the 6th, how the hell will they find it in the seventh?)
Devotion
The fact that Harry didn't pass the diadem in the Room of Requirment doesn't matter, because he didn't even know what it was at the time; if it was put in the movie it would have been purely for the audience to see. And he sees Lovegood's version of the diadem in his house in book 7, so they can simply fill in the gap there. There are more important things they need to fill in for, like the fact that Dumbledore's wand isn't buried with him. Tho that may be a detail they changed. I wonder if they'll make Snape cry in the memories, because he does in the book. That'll be something... *Harry Potter Geek*
Rayray
Yeah I can't wait to see how will they make Snape's memory. :D
Devotion
I wonder how they'll manage to make Alan Rickman look younger. Lots of makeup I suppose.
Rayray
Probably, but I wonder how the young Lily, Snape and Petunia would look like :D
Devotion
Oh yes! I want the park scene to be included ^^ But when Harry saw Snape's memories during Occlumency in movie 5, they were very quick, cept the last one. I'm hoping that they take more time with his memories, since it's such an important part. And the silver doe...I can't waiiiittt.... But the word is out that part 1 and 2 of Deathly Hallows won't be released together, but a freaking year apart. ugh I hope not.

Devotion
Like with Star Wars. They had Empire Strikes back and Return of the Jedi back to back, with an intermission between movies. I'm not sure what's rumor out there, especially in the Potter world, but I do hope we don't have to wait a year more.
`teardrop-
I never had the chance to watch the movie. But I've read the book. Really good twist in the story because Dumbledore gets killed by Snape. Looking forward to Deathly Hollows. (:
