its777 Posted June 28, 2009 Report Share Posted June 28, 2009 do not mvp with perfect dodge build, you will still get hit by skills. yes pd is a very tactical and strategic way to pvp but only against melee characters. pd will not save you from asura's, sacrifice, magic, and depending on how much pd you want.. .. with 70-90% pd you may dodge alot of attacks but at what cost? holding a fortune dagger will not kill anyone.. and even with 40% pd.. you are still hittable.. but ya you get the drift. a common thing people do is put pd gear and cards and use "edges" and run around coma'ing people.. but it wont get you very far. fun but not very practical you will often meet people who will just rape your ass and you got nothing to fight back with. PD is directly affected by your LUK. I'd have to look up the exact ratio but I think it's between 6:1 - 8:1. The Helm of Hermes(custom quest item) adds quite a bit of PD as will the donation and non-donation LUK belts, donation and non-donation Mix B belts, Fox Cards(custom boot card) the Fortune Sword, Yoyo cards, Choco cards ... Search RMS.net for more info. It isn't that hard to accomplish a PD build when you've reached your maximum level. The hard part is achieving perfect PD while trying to not sacrifice everything else. I use 2x agi belt and still hit 100 PD with one fortune sword and maxed out agi, which makes you pretty much immune to anything except sacrifice / asura and magic, however you can use fortune sword / gtb. On my pd prof takes damn near 10 - 20 people to kill me even asuaring even than asuraing even 3 phres (they still don't hit me) id tell my build but its op so fuck that lol. I don't use 300 agi at all and i've got near 200 vit still with 100 pd and 700 flee idc if u don't say its possible i do it and its easy. edp link sb sucks lol sb sucks overall only thing that will actually probably kill me is grim but i can counter it to. And with 150 dex total, the average HIT is around 400, meaning with 3 phrees you'd have 700 hit which is enough to hit you nearly every time. 2 phrees would still hit you enough to do decent damage. In addition the lack of tao and GTB leaves you open to coma (tarot), magic and raping your HP, since profs don't exactly have the best HP modifier. Also Thana doesn't stack. Sure your build might do well 1 on 1, but you simply can not tank 10+ people. Unless you find a build that's immune to coma/magic, AV, desperado, asura, SB, thana and ranged; which you haven't. In particular desperado and AV can still hit you with all your flee, bypass PD, and desperado doesn't get reduced by ranged either. Rayray Posted July 2, 2009 Report Share Posted July 2, 2009 PD/Flee build is only effective to those who's main weapon is to attack(DD sinx, sb sinx considering you have high flee and other physical attacks except dex based ones). but I don't think you can tank 10 people unless they all have the same character and build. just about two of them are champs with proper equips, you will die considering you have lower hp since it is a prof you are using. No, PD will not make you invincible to everyone in pvp, nor mvps. It's a strategy some people use to force people to use skills.. It has 'NOTHING' to do with asura, other then the fact it's a skill.. Try it if you want, do a few tests...And see you like it. It's not expensive to do, and there's a reset npc person if you mess up. <3 All the information you need is already posted on the last page.
