Rayna Posted June 15, 2009 Report Posted June 15, 2009 My suggestion, basically, allows players to quest for a pair of wings without having to be completely comfortable with the donation coupon system used in Forsaken RO, like the dragon aurora does before a player can vote enough to get the fallen ghost, gets enough donation coupons to buy a better one, or joins a guild and gets a WoE drop. These wings could have +5% movement speed and perhaps a +bonus to all stats. Not much, but maybe +5? The quest I suggest could maybe include: 1,000 peco peco feathers 1,000 soft feathers 1,000 feathers 10 dyestuff of the color of wing you want As well as maybe one or two MvP items also based on the color of wing you want? So, yeah. Sorry if someone suggested this before. ^^; Thanks!

Masahiro Posted June 15, 2009 Report Posted June 15, 2009 i also find this is a good idea!, it gives new players a chance to get into the game well enough without leaving too large a gap between them and their experienced/ donation counterparts, this way they wont get overly frustrated not being able to get decent gear to pvp while they hunt even better gear... there is too large a gap b/e the weak and the strong, and i believe this may also help the transition from weaker players to stronger players and create a more enjoyable environment for new players who don't wanna spend 16+ hrs a day farming items to get tht lif hat :P (exaggeration)

Groxy Drank Posted June 18, 2009 Report Posted June 18, 2009 I like this suggestion because the begginers normally find wings as an icon of power and beauty, so questable wings would help em' to earn good stuff to wear in low headgear besides of a toast(Example), also it could help em to get qpons, i mean like Non-Donation Belts, they could make the quest how many times they want to and sell the wings.

Don't take existing wings and make them questable. You know? We need a few pairs of new wings just for the quest lines and then we need to agree on the items you need for the quest. After I see that we have new wings in the works for the project, and a good item list for each wing. I'll be able to push for acception.

If you're new, then wings shouldn't be your priority. :[ Uhh...wings rarely go for 30. +10 wings go for like 35 and if you want +0, you're in the 40-45 range. Even if they shouldn't be your priority, like Rangdyrok said, they represent power for new players. Besides, wings are aesthetic. Why shouldn't new people have a chance? And also like he said, they could sell the wings to make coupons faster. Yes, there are other methods, but if that is what they want to do, why stop them?

I'm merely saying that wings aren't everything. There are a lot of ways to earn coupons easily, even without donating. Also, I think this idea was rejected almost/more than a year ago. Though I'm not sure if they were solely based on quest-able wings or wings giving extra stats. By "wings", I mean the non-PvP ladder prize wings.
