But I already know this one has been up for a while. Looks a little familiar, amirite? I don't want people getting into troube; I wanna know if we have permission to use thier sprites. Plus, people are being charged real money for something unoriginal...? A little unfair dont'cha think? Opinions and corrections of my 'knowledge' would be appreciated. =D
Nick Posted June 6, 2009 Report Posted June 6, 2009 Our drops (orange) backpack was recolored from scratch, using sprites released into public domain. (Angeling Rucksack) None of our graphics are stolen.

Here is a screenshot of me asking her for permission months before adding any of the original rucksacks: Notice how I even offered to give her money ( from my own pocket ) in order to get permission to use them without any sort of restriction? We have always given credit where it was due despite the fact that we have not been obligated to. Example: http://forum.forsaken-ro.net/index.php?showtopic=9660 As you can see ( in the link above ), we used the original preview made by happy giving her full credit to said sprite. The ones we've done from scratch are the ones we entitle "Exclusive to ForsakenRO". Does this answer your question?

I want you to download a simple spriting program, open up the sprite of a rucksack, what do you see? Oh, right, you see credit to Happy and the person who recoloured the sprite. fRO has stolen nothing, 'copied' nothing, instead we make things for YOU, for EVERYONE to enjoy. Nice try at bringing fRO down; like you usually do. I suggest you try harder and next time post the original sprite and not a recolour on heRO. Yeah, that's right, you just posted an image of a 'stolen' rucksack! Nice going. Go skip along with Hoekae and her psycho boyfriend onto that 'other server you play' when I see you ingame here. Have fun.

WHY on earth do you really need to know ? you do realise technically all private servers are a rip off original kro etc .. if you dont like it gtfo simple. its a game learn to enjoy it
