NeverGone Posted May 12, 2009 Author Report Posted May 12, 2009 I honestly can't wait for this. Screw Japan for always being the first to play these things :< Yeah, The 2nd generation was the best. They make the game that's why, They play it first.

UltimateRyuu Posted May 15, 2009 Report Posted May 15, 2009 OMFGGG!!! I LOVE U FOR POSTING THIS I LOVE POKEMANS AND I DONT CARE WAT OTHER PPL THINK! Silver and gold were my fav of the pokemon game series and the fact that they are remaking it with better attacks, Graphics, Etc. gives me a boner.
NeverGone Posted May 18, 2009 Author Report Posted May 18, 2009 @UltimateRyuu: Well, Better make a topic for it now then later on. @Tiago: I don't think that pic will help my topic get more posts.
Kusanagi Posted May 18, 2009 Report Posted May 18, 2009 HOLY SHIT serious? xD, damn its been so long since Ive payed pkm... but yeah in the old times I wished there would be a remake for Gold and Silver (though my favorite was always Crystal xD [first video game ever for me, no wonder jaja] ). Oh well maybe I will download it eventually....yeah eventually.
Forum~ Posted May 19, 2009 Report Posted May 19, 2009 but starting out with pikachu made it hard to beat the first gym leader.... so i gave up. (earth/rock>electric) /cry
NeverGone Posted May 19, 2009 Author Report Posted May 19, 2009 ... and your point is? Nothing at all. But it was a laugh.
NeverGone Posted May 19, 2009 Author Report Posted May 19, 2009 but starting out with pikachu made it hard to beat the first gym leader.... so i gave up. (earth/rock>electric) /cry I always had a Butterfree by the 1st gym leader.
NeverGone Posted May 19, 2009 Author Report Posted May 19, 2009 Pokemon Red and Blue ftw!! I have to agree about Blue and Red they were better then Yellow.
NeverGone Posted May 21, 2009 Author Report Posted May 21, 2009 silver/gold/crystal version ftw. Yes, I agree 1st and 2nd Gen were the best. But Yellow pissed me off the most.
Maiku Posted May 21, 2009 Report Posted May 21, 2009 omg Yellow was so beast, what's better then seeing your cute little pokemon follow you?! In yellow version you could get every basic pokemon without trading it over.
NeverGone Posted May 25, 2009 Author Report Posted May 25, 2009 omg Yellow was so beast, what's better then seeing your cute little pokemon follow you?! In yellow version you could get every basic pokemon without trading it over. Maybe, In your opinion it was. I couldn't look at Pikachu the same when i was done with Yellow. But for the pokemon following you, It's kinda cute and all but in a stalking way. That is true, In Many ways.
GrimFusion Posted June 2, 2009 Report Posted June 2, 2009 The Pokemon series has been completely crap since the original Red, Green, and Blue versions. When Gamefreak and Nintendo began taking cues from the cartoon show and incorporating them into the games, the whole series lost it's original feel. Trainers aren't as snarky, the puzzles aren't as challenging, and the Pokemon are cheaper, poorly named, and unbalanced. I hated Yellow, if for no other reason than it cut away at the requirement to be social with fellow gamers... and Pikachu was annoying as hell. I still remember that 5 year span when every child under the age of 14 ran about yelling out "PIKA, PIKA!" and "Pikachuuu!" as annoyingly as possible. Hell, I even watched the cartoon show for a while... up until each episode became some moral story about doing good deeds, and even the show's title theme mispronounced the word Pokemon. It's pronounced Poe'kae'mon... not Poe'kee'mon. Everything about pokemon has gone completely crap in the last decade. Nintendo needs to shoot the horse. It's become lame.
NeverGone Posted June 18, 2009 Author Report Posted June 18, 2009 @GrimFusion: The show is sill lame as always, But the games have got boring over time. So, I kinda agree.
Rayray Posted June 22, 2009 Report Posted June 22, 2009 I remember having yellow when I was a kid. But I only used pikachu until level 25 for some reason. I like Pigeot better than any of my pokemon that time -_- Anyway, Pokemon games have become boring since almost every pokemon game out there got the same(or near) storyline as the previous. But wouldn't it be nice to become a villain in a pokemon world sometime?
» Pat Posted June 22, 2009 Report Posted June 22, 2009 Playing the Crystal edition on my cell phone whenever I'm bored. It's so fun to play that stuff again.~<3
