Hi folks, I used to play on fRO a lot several years ago (maybe a decade ago?), and would like to play again. However, I no longer have a functional Windows computer available to me. Has anyone been able to play fRO on mac using wine or another system that doesn't involve having to purchase Windows and running it through Parallel or similar?

Hi there, So I have returned to the game with a macbook now instead of my pc. I used crossover to play right now and everything is fine except the F keys won't work... like F1 F2 F3 etc... all of them won't work if i press F12 its just gonna adjust the volume... Help please ! much appreciated!

Hi everyone! I'm a returning playing and got really excited to find that the 3rd Class sprites were available, unfortunately I am running my RO client on a mac using CrossOver and I am having some issues getting them to show up. Am I correct in understanding it should replace the Transcendent class looks? (ie. ALL Lord Knights would now look like a Rune Knights ALL High Wizard would now look like a Warlocks) Any help would be appreciated. :) Thanks!

Hey there, I own a MacBook Pro Retina, the 15" Version and installed Bootcamp (Windows 7, Home Premium) yesterday to play Forsaken-RO with my friends. The steps I did: Install Bootcamp Windows 7 (duh) Install the Window Assistant helper thing (drivers and stuff) Install Forsaken-RO (full client) So, that worked fine. I can run the patcher with the violet geisha in the middle and the news-feed (however, it doesn't patch). So when I click "play", which probably would redirect me into the game to log-in, a small window appears (without any content) which closes itself after around 0,5 sec. The game is then completely shut down, it vanishes from the taskbar. No error message appears. What I already did trying to solve it: Changing the resolution from 2880x1800 down to.. well, I tried most of the other lower resolutions, it didn't help. Changing the Graphic-Card from the 650GTM to something called 3D-bla-bla, which I found in the Ragnarok Setup Asking Google What can I do against this? Anyone encountered similar problems?
